Simon Kerswell, age 19

solid stamina hopeless keeper

If this bloke pops in 3 weeks like he did to formidable technique, then he should be outstanding technique next week.

I'll be doing pace training soonish (starting in the next couple of weeks) When is a good time to sell ? And how much is he worth now ?

good question, just wondering, what with these madly talented 18 year olds going for 4 million or so, whether it's worth trying to get a couple of mill for him now to buy a pensioner. But then he could be 3 * brilliant later on with excellent passing and playmaking, couldn't he.

but he's not 18 so the outlandish prices paid for them might mean nothing

no harm in hawking him around to see if you get a big bid - but maybe you'll get better by training him higher yourself
2009-02-06 17:13:34
god, you make me sound like a pimp !
2009-02-06 17:14:04
Well for me assuming by your comments in the training thread, he is ideal for you. Technique for now and then Pace........he won't be exc pm and passing when 3 x Brilliant, but he has a lot of potential to be a very nice trainee for you imo.
2009-02-06 17:14:26
is it immoral to sell off an England prospect so you can live off the money?
2009-02-06 17:16:22
Not really as long as he is continued to be trained.....which I am certain he would be. Would it be a good thing for him to be at a professionally run team is a different question. ;)
2009-02-06 17:40:33
It's for the good of England that I'm considering selling him !
2009-02-06 17:41:50
If I kept him long enough to go to 3 * brilliant, i'd consider then training passing + playmaking to get him there. I've never had a player like that.
2009-02-06 18:26:10
Surely that would be a waste considering you could take him to 3 x Magical and make him more effective?
2009-02-06 18:30:10
ah, well, when you put it like that...
