surely more than that? best 17yr old def & mid in england. 41.25 mid score... pah! although in current market you may be right. will keep until silly season in a few weeks time and hope for some randoms as well as the pace & stamina boosts
2009-03-25 10:00:57
Maybe, but from my point of view I think Tech and talent go against him for a long term project.
2009-03-25 10:09:44
you just say that because you hate me :^(
but you're probably right. ah well, the silly season will soon be upon us and i figure that estimate could double with a lucky random or 2.
2009-03-25 10:11:01
good luck mate, and yes I hate you, but that is OK everyone else does too.
2009-03-25 12:47:14
For me the only thing that reduces his value is the talent being only 5. ;)

He'd be worth much more with talent of less than 4.
2009-03-25 14:22:52
can someone evaluate these 2 for me please?

Emile Chatelain , age 22
value: 101 850 £
wage: 1 110 £
very good form
bookings:
formidable stamina tragic keeper
solid pace weak defender
solid technique very good playmaker
solid passing poor striker

Torvald Crone , age 22
value: 159 150 £
wage: 1 590 £
brilliant form
bookings:
formidable stamina tragic keeper
outstanding pace weak defender
weak technique adequate playmaker
very good passing poor striker

50k each perhaps, maybe 100k.
I'm guessing here
2009-03-25 15:49:44
I think the first one is worth up to 150k, the other one between 50k and 100k like you said.

These were Bensted's skills when he was pulled in week 5 as a 17yo:

Terry Bensted, age: 17
value: 59 850 £, wage: 780 £
club: Armitage Shanks, country: England
very good form, tragic tactical discipline

unsatisfactory stamina, poor keeper
weak pace, solid defender
poor technique, solid playmaker
adequate passing, good striker

Thing is, he was talented, that's the problem with your player! I would sell him and not advertise talent personally.
2009-03-25 21:40:43
what level did Benstead promote at?
2009-03-25 22:11:41
don't listen to the dognut - Benstead is rubbish!
2009-03-25 22:29:53
I just wondered how rubbish? ;)
2009-03-25 23:41:16
outstanding+1

@jaize: there's no "a" in Bensted, grrrr, everyone does that.
2009-03-26 12:24:55
How much would I get for this guy if I decided to sell? Had a definate 4 pop as a 16 yr old in YA, talent is very good as he has popped quickly in Tech and Striking so far with various randoms in other skills too.

Jared Coatsworth, age: 17 club: Longfield Tigers, country: England
value: 110 100 £, wage: 825 £
divine form, good tactical discipline

hopeless stamina tragic keeper
poor pace unsatisfactory defender
outstanding technique weak playmaker
weak passing very good striker

I'll guess at 1.8 million for wdps' one, maybe 2 million ?

Top pace trainers would be happy to have him at that age and with proven talent, I'm sure.
