It worked for me - I trained a bunch of 18-19yos - selling untalented ones and bringing in better ones - my whole team for practically U21 in my first season in III :P

I have to admit my original super trainees has gone down to 2 now :P

It's the way it is early on. It's fairly easy to make a team full of your own trainees as many of your pulls will slot in your first team with a bit of training.

It's just harder to do that later on, hence my lack of English youngsters :(

Bought another guy for 23k at the same time. 3 weeks to excellent passing at 18yo. Gah.

Also, 1million to 1.75 i'd say - depends how much someone wants the pace.

I think probably closer to 2.5m if you sell now.

2.5 i could live with, I'm expecting around 2.2 though i suspect.

I'm in a bit of a predicament though. as i know i wont be able to buy better, only have 600k in my account!

what would you do?

id keep. you wont get a better player for that amount, but if you sell you would have about £3 mill to spend if lucky, its all about risk :)

If you wait until silly season you'll probably get a bit extra and you might grab a bargain replacement under the radar, but its less likely given the quality of player you're looking for.

So I'd be tempted to sell now, and hope something decent gets listed. It'll help if you have a half decent back-up just in case you have to wait a week or two.

I've got one I could play as a lone striker for a few weeks. I've all ready won the league, but I'm not sure if I should push for auto promotion.

I will have 1million to add onto whatever I get for him when we get end of season bonuses.

The problem I find is if I buy younger, I will get less skill points and he will very really get trained.
