Subject: VALUATIONS thread

2007-11-29 21:16:51
boo ken, again,

with those secondaries, I'd think £4m at least.
2007-11-29 21:21:47
stop with the booing booo
2007-11-29 21:24:46
when your valuations get somehwere close to realistic, I will stop booing.
2007-11-29 21:27:00
booo
2007-11-29 21:35:05
Shh. £4m you reckon. I wonder if I could hold out for some sucker to bid around £6m for him, or is that expecting too much?
2007-11-29 22:16:33
nope, really push it and you might get the £6m, £4m is if you just plonk him on the list, some pole will probably bite.
2007-11-29 22:33:46
i'd say 3.5 as a starting and then 4+ as the fial price

@ken BOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
2007-11-29 22:55:25
Right. He's popping a bit faster than I thought he would do earlier on in the season. What do you folks would make most difference price-wise if I bump it up another level? I'll only do one more skill level from what I've listed, if I do at all. Passing?
2007-11-29 22:57:08
Defender would bump it more I think, as it's more his primary skill, then passing.
2007-11-29 22:58:18
Argh. I ballsed it up. As it's pace and technique he needs topping up on, these are the skills he'd be at.

In 3-4 weeks this player will be ready to sell.

Jon Benton, age:25
value: 505 950 £, wage: 4 515 £
club: Slackers FC, country: England
divine form, incredible tactical discipline

formidable stamina, tragic keeper
brilliant pace, incredible defender
outstanding technique, outstanding playmaker
formidable passing, average striker

Defending is a no-no as it doesn't suit the rest of the squad anymore. Passing or nowt. ANy idea whether this would make a big difference to price?
2007-11-29 22:59:52
like that it would make more difference.
2007-11-29 23:01:41
Yeah, but how much. I reckon it could be offset by the fact he'll deffo be 26 by the time he gets to a level higher in passing. Although it would be the start of next season. Hmm, decisions decisions.
2007-11-29 23:03:37
I'd sell sooner then, you could make more/get more out of someone else.
2007-11-29 23:04:47
I'm curious as to a valuation...

Rodrigo Narváez, age: 22
value: 106 650 £, wage: 1 665 £
club: Phils_hotspurs, country: Colombia
poor form, average tactical discipline
bookings: injury: (slight injury)

excellent stamina, hopeless keeper
excellent pace, poor defender
outstanding technique, unsatisfactory playmaker
unsatisfactory passing, excellent striker
2007-11-29 23:10:52
Oddly enough I don't have a scooby for actual value, I'd think pushing £2m, form will probably push that down though.
2007-11-29 23:13:56
Ye, he has never made my first XI largely down to form issues, he never has any!

I may perhaps just continue training his pace, in a season he would perhaps look a bit more appealing, especially with higher form!
