Subject: VALUATIONS thread
Ye, he has never made my first XI largely down to form issues, he never has any!
I may perhaps just continue training his pace, in a season he would perhaps look a bit more appealing, especially with higher form!

I'd sell him asap as when he gets to 23-24 his value's going to dip as he's less attractive as a trainee.
See, that was part of my thinking.
How much would you say I could get for him? Could I potentially get a better pace trainee for the future with the money?!

I'd say at least £1.5m and likely more due to the technique. If I were to train him any more I'd concentrate on bumping that as people will buy him to ignore technique and concentrate on the other two.
It's the million dollar question re: buying better trainees. In my opinion, yes, but you've got to look at it in the way that the new trainee will be better than this guy was when you first got him as a trainee, not better than this guy's is now (unless you're very patient and lucky!).

Yep, thats what I figured. I think I will look to list him in the next day or so, maybe this evening if I don't get back too late from work.
He only cost me 395k a season ago, so he has certainly been a decent investment, and if I sell him I can find a similar trainee and then have some spare money which I will save for later in the season.

Any ideas on this guy? Now that he has hit divine pace I don't want to waste a slot, particularly as I have some young players who do need pace.

start training something else I told you that nearly 6 months ago. train his tech and then passing
Or train his pm and sell for loads when he is at very good or excellent.
He has had some tech training, and I'm about to do another few weeks, but I have quite a few high tech and passing players in need of pace, so I don't want to base training just around Scott.
I also thought it would take longer than 8 weeks to get from Unerathly to Divine..

if i wasn't training pace I'd buy him off you and then do tech and passing
ooh ! me likey ! no idea of value, but i'm training defendering mainly. Would imagine he'd go for 1.5 million, but I wouldnt want to promise that as players like this must be rare.
Ok, I'll list him now. I do like him as he is one of my home grown players, but I have younger players with better skills who need some pace to be really good. Sad to see him go.
