In a word.....Yes! That is a hell of an opening offer for him! There is a possibility that after 3 seasons worth of training you might night get that for him, there might have been a crash in the transfer market like in HT a couple of seasons ago.
I know, i have 2 guys interested in him, 1 who can't buy till later in the season and 1 who is going to wait till the new youths come in on thursday and then decide.
In terms of the money I thought it was too good to turn down as it would let me buy someone like jjk's player and that it would take me a long time to make him ito that lvel of player.
