I had a big reply, but my internet broke down :-/

So in short now:
Bad tactics mostly imply bad passing, but the opposite is not true. Sometimes players just choose the wrong option by giving a useless or a wrong pass. And if the developers choose the ME to be so that players rather make short passes than longer ones, often good opportunities get lost. For example: a free winger and instead of trying a (risky) cross, your defmid chooses to pass shortly to your other defmid. After this pass is made, the defence reorganises and the opportunity is lost. If you look to the match of Poland vs Italy, you will see a lot of this situations.

That's what I mean by useless...

Another result of this is that midfielders often pass back to their defenders which gives them a lot of problems to controll the ball and give a descent pass. If they just kicked the ball forward instead of passing them afterwards, you would avoid such shameful situations.

I have a question for you, greszbe, what do you prefer, no wingers, 1 winger, 2 wingers and why?

i have no preferences in this matter

in my club I'm using almost all possible systems - with one or two wingers, with no wingers or with wingatt and one att, even with two wingatts.

I have many prepared tactics. Some of theme You can watch on my Youtube channel. Ofcourse i have much more of them. Making new ones is also easy for me. All depends on effect what i want to achieve.

IMO key to success is to suprise Your rival and use tactic most suitable against his preferences so generally having preferences is a bad thing ;D

What are the minimumskills you require to use a wingatt, then? I mean, they probably need some more sideskills than the usual attacker, no?

my wingatt looks like this:

16 6
17 12
14 14

and he is good enough to play against even the strongest opponents

however as wingatt can be use classic attacker with high secondary skills (especially passing).

obviously there is no sense in forcing that system if there aren't proper players available. it was only example of my tactical elasticity ;)

World Cup - Group H

1. Italia
2. Eesti
3. Norge
4. Suomi

What do you think of the group H?

very very hard

Norge is the weakest. Italia and Eesti are very strong with very good managers.
We will need a perfect tactic and a bit of luck to beat them, honestly.
