Dumb [del] to All
Hi,

It is the second time I have decided to run for coach position of Finnish national team and here are two main reasons why:

1. In my opinion Finnish NT is one of the most powerful national teams, while your results were not significant. I believe that Finland is underperforming, and thats why im here, to change it [:

2. I have played few matches against Finland while i was a coach of Lithuanian NT, one of them was the first NT match ever, which was a memorable one. Lithuania was down 3:0 and then came back with 6 goals and won it 6:3... this wasnt even an official match but its still in my head, as forums in Lithuania were raging about my tactic while we were losing and then it all changed [:

Anyway, stating reasons why I want to do it shouldnt effect anything since I am here and that just proves that i want it...

A little about my experience:

Ive been Lithuanian National team coach for about 3 times (cant remember exactly). My performance was relatively good with a country which has never had more than 200 users. I have qualified from really difficult groups few times and then I have taken Lithuania to semi finals of WC (by the way eliminating Finland in quarters).
I dont want to expand too much but i just want to mention that I have NT experience, my tactics are nto limited by club experience, since National teams are much more all rounded and at the same time you play against all rounded and powerful teams. So I have got that ability - and it is proven.

My club experience stretches long to the past. I am one of the oldest non-Polish managers in the sokker (initially started playing sokker on 2004/09). During that time I have achieved a lot, I have won a couple of National Cups and titles, including my domination in top league this year. But what I think sets me apart from the rest of the managers is my run in the Champions Cup a season ago, when with a team of 21 year olds, averaging around 63~ marks I have climbed up to semifinals, eliminating 2 teams which averaged around 70%... First one and Second one. I would like you to pay attention to second one, where i had 9average marks less and beat the shit out of my opponent with my tactical abilities. On the other hand this was club level and those tactics were made especially for that moment, for the squad I had at that time to play against specific opponent, and as I mentioned before NT matches are different, but I just gave those to prove my tactical abilities.

As for what has not been mentioned, please ask me any questions you want.

Magnificent! :)

Ok, one question. I think you remember very well the last time you candidated for Suomi. Why did you lose then?

What is your opinion on our performance in the last WC and what would you have done better?

to be honest last finlands performance was quite impressive if we talk about achieved victories on the path to semis (italy, estonia).... so there is no much to do better than last time, because there is a big luck factor involved in NT business

one thing to be noticed is that only 2 tactics were used, so u might have gotten too predictable

How well do you know our current NT? Have you followed our games and players or just decided to run for the coach again? What do you think are the strengths of our team and what maybe the downsides? Name the most important Suomi players you can come up with, don't go and check them from the NT-page first! ;)

didnt follow that much, just generally... and im quite sure no manager follows foreign NTs closely, cause there are way too many of them...

I have stated my reasons why i run above, and in addition to that its obvious that Finland is a competitive Nt which can fight even for gold, so thats one additional reason

Finland has always had a powerful midfield, and idont think it has changed... as a top team i dont think there are major weaknesses

cant tell any names cause Finnish names are just impossible to remember [:

i think its relatively easy group, with some excitement involved
the only serious opponent is spain, but thats what makes it interesting
and then a little bit of threat from latvia, although i cant imagine losing points against them
