Hello everybody!

I just spoke with Vikingo and seeing that no one of you is going to participate, I'll decided to candidate myself in order to keep up the work we've done here.
Like Vikingo, of course, I intend my candidature for the next 2 seasons as a whole.

Many of you already know me, because I mailed them quite a lot in order to have the players updated :).
So you know I already know the players very well.... actually I worked a lot "behind the curtain" on the database area... but I think you can remember some of it, because I and Vikingo posted some months ago the data about what I was doing, cleaning hundreds of obsolete data, finding new players previously untraced by the DB and afterwards keeping it in good shape.


Now some info about myself:
My name's Andrea, I'm 40 and I'm a mathematician/statistician on financial markets...
In these games I've always been pushed by curiosity, by the desire to understand "how it works".

That's why I got involved in a long series of studies, the results of which I published for all the Community... when I was a noob I found a kind guy who gave me the guidelines to understand this game... when I start to understand its complexity I kinda felt in love with it and started studying many areas...
And then publishing the results, so I'll help others to play it better.
I've been asked "why don't you keep your findings for yourself?"
Well, I think the more the people know, the better the game.

Now, about the game:

* I've a large experience in NT work, mainly in the database area. I've designed and realized the Database management system in Italy and, as you know, I've had a similar position in the recent seasons in Finland.
I also helped a lot of other NT coach in the scouting area.

* With my team I play actively since 2011 and I've been promoted some days ago to the Italian second league level ("serie B")

* on TACTICAL aspects, I see a usual question is "Qhat is your favourite tactic?"
Well, from the best coach I worked with I learned what I think is a key thing for a NT coach: FLEXIBILITY.
Within reason, of course, but flexibility is essential.

In NT you have a large pool of players, but you're still limited but the player's FORM, INJURIES and such. So it happened that sometimes you can run out of wingers (all with low form, or injured)... then you have to be flexible in your tactic and lineup choices.

Moreover that was about my own side, then there's the opponent and we all know that a tactic perfect for a specific opponent can be not that good with another one.
So I think there's no "dress" good for all seasons.
That's why, imho, tactic flexibility is the key.

I got it :)

I have two possibility answering this:
1) the "yeahhhhhh" answer: "YESS! We'll win again and we'll become the number one!"
2) the reasonable answer: "Me and the guys who will cooperate with me will really do our best for Suomi! I'll take the bench knowing the first part of the work has already been done: the DB is pretty good (I took care of it XD), so we can concentrate on tactical aspects. Then, luck be on our side, we could really get a good result!"

SUOMI is in group D with Schweiz, Canada, Azərbaycan, Belarus and al-Jazā’ir

Just out of couriosity I calculated the sum of the 5 high ranked team for every group



the groups H and D look the hard ones with almost no difference... just underneath group K, B, A, E and J...
easiest groups for Srbjia, Nederland, Deutschland and Italy...

SUOMI has to face right away one of the 2 hardest groups, tough luck, but I'm very confident on our players' strenght, so get ready and GO SUOMI! ;)

Very nice spreadsheets, I love you already :) I'm "statistician" too. Group D is not easy because Switzerland is a good team and Canada and Azerbaijan can surprise in some matches. However I'm confident that we will win the group.

Group P is interesting because where is Poland, Portugal and Scotland. Scotland played in WC final against us but they have a hard job to qualify from this group.

More than words, I will really do my best with hard work and commitment to thank you for this! :)

In the past days I've started a new skmail campaign in order to refresh our data about Suomi players. Many owners have already answered, others have updated the DB by themselves. Many of you had not been contacted, those who keep their finnish players regularly updated... to them my biggest thanks!

I've arranged the seasonal friendlies (just awaiting the last confirmation before publishing the whole schedule).

I've also completed a search in your arenas (Veikkausliiga and the four I-divisioona) looking for different measures of the pitch that could be a tactical options in some occasions... so it could be that Suomi National Team may come to play at your stadium... stay tuned for that! ;)

Congrats mate! We believe in you, but obviously also have high expectations! ;)

No, no I'm not candidating myself... :)))

Just enjoying the victory we just got in the Friendly Cup "U27 European Championship 4".

I know it is something very, very different and totally not-comparable with what got Vikingo 8 months ago... but nevertheless it's a small but nice reward for the work that it has been done in these 8 months...
