Finally, I am very pleased with both the gameplay and the result! We set pressing on the opponent starting from the very beginning of the game. Look at smooth passing in the 15th minute of the game! For 55 minutes we played one man down and managed to score 2 and not to concede any goals.

Yes his form is 1 level higher so that gives him an advantage of roughly 0.00001% over Zagar. But Zagar has better skills so form was not a key factor this time. Zagar played 50min, Voh 40 min. i think this is fair. I told you not to worry as Voh will play many games for U21

Hi everyone,
I will not continue with Slovenia U21 next season. The circumstances changed and I will head Russia NT.

I have mixed impression from the season. There were ups and downs in the games and only by the mid season I have finally found the balance in the team. It took longer because I had to do a difficult job of revising all players and scouting.

Things achieved:
1. We slightly improved in the ranking and progressed to 54th place with 1628 points (started at 56th place with 1585 points)
2. Had a few good games (Scotland, Montenegro, Cuba, Cameroon)
3. Expanded the database and cleaned up NTDB. It contains about a 100 players with more than 50% of them are updated over the last 2 month. About 70 of them are 20yo or younger, so suitable for the next season
4. I didn't afraid to introduce 19yos. I am proud the following players made their debut this season
Viktor Gregorčič 8 games
Zdenko Jug 6 games
Matija Voh 7 games
Damjan Jenko 1 game

The following 20yos had only 1 or 2 games before this season and played in a number of games so gained experience and additional training
Jernej Žagar 12 games
Dejan Jelenko 7 games

On a negative side:
1. Didn't get from the group stage of miniWC
2. Lost 4 games against slightly stronger opponents (Bolivia, Malaysia, Hong Kong - twice)
3. Didn't manage to reach to a few managers
4. Didn't find a keeper for the next season

The next season is a qualification season and the new manager will have difficulties in games because of a situation around keepers. The manager of Brane Absec came back to the game and it looks like he trains pace but this is not enough.

I will share my database in excel with the new manager as soon as he is elected. NTDB is also up to date.
