I know skills of some Russian players and can assure you that the opponent was slightly better. That dictated the choice of the tactic. The idea was to build solid defense line and exploit the gaps in Russian defense with running passes.

Interestingly, after a red card we played better! Russia was better in the first half, Slovenia dominated in the second half. The keeper was on top tonight. So it's a well deserved draw.
