These are the results of the last 3 friendly matches. I'm not happy with them, especially the match against Pilipinas yesterday was a distaster. The defence was standing too high, which gave them too many chances.
I'm also very worried about next season. Without Naglic, Pekosak and Jazbec, the midfield will be a problem...

Next week we play against Al Maghrib. They had equal ratings yesterday, so it will be close I think...

At least we won again, but is wasn't easy. 17 year old goalkeeper Pahor made his debut. If he keeps receiving training, he will be the U21 keeper for next seasons.

Ok, we didn't play against a very strong team, but it's alwasy nice to score a lot of goals :-) Slovenija played with only five 21 year old players, so not too bad at all...

Next week we play against Panama.


Edit: Panama arranged a match against an other opponent, so now play against Andorra U21 (we also played them in week 02, but this time it will be more difficult)

First of all I have to apologize for the walkover against Andorra. This was very disturbing, because we lost ranking points :-( I went on holidays on Thursday and forgot about the age updates. So I selected some 22 years old players in the squad. I'm very sorry for this...

Today we won the last match against El Salvador. I'm happy with the defence, but the rest of the squad is not that strong at the moment. It will be tough next season. Hopefully the players will improve a lot.

Next week the first WC U21 Qualification match against Lietuva U21. I'm afraid it's gonna be very difficult...

Žydrūnas Valančauskas is a very good striker but we win the match. let's go:)

We had no chance, Lietuva just has much better players. Luckily Pahor was doing well as a goalkeeper, otherwise the scoreline would have been even worse. Aljancic also got injured, so not a good day...

Next week we should get our first 3 points in this group against Nicaragua.

The first points in this Group for Slovenija :-) It was not a very good match, but the most important thing is that we won. Slovenija is now on the 4th place and I'm afraid this is the maximum. The top-3 teams are much too strong...

Next week there will be a friendly match against Senegal U21. Could be close...

No chance at all in this match. Half time score was only 0-1, but in the second half it got much worse because of the lack of stamina.
Next match is against Hungary. We have two suspended defenders, so I'm not looking forward to this match...

I was already afraid for a result like this. We had almost no defenders available for this match and our central defender received a red card in the first half. We have to forget this match soon and try to win next week against Pilipinas. They are our competitor for the 4th place in the group...

The results of the last 2 matches. Yesterday we played a solid match against Misr with a good result at the end. The week before against Pilipinas was a bit dissappointing. We almost lost the match (Slovenija scored only a few minutes before the end of the game), because we had problems to create chances.
Next week we play against Pilipinas again. I'm going for a win this time :-)
