unlucky first round ;(, but we believe! gogo :D

I believe it was a bit of surprise for the Swiss and we made it really hard for them :) I believed after the good start we are able to keep the lead, but they had too many chances after personal mistakes of some players (but with the skills they have I expected it...), anyway I finally liked the tactic I made and how it looks on the pitch. And also it was very good test for the qualification where we are going to face these opponents :)

and Skaper finally find a scoring way :)

I think that this result is pretty nice :-) Just keep training players and we will have our chance in the qualification :-)

the season is over so fast and it's the election time once again. As I said before the season, we wanted to prepare the generation for the upcoming WCQ and I believe we did it well.

There are still two matches left (against Nicaragua and the Czech republic), but so far I think it was solid season. It kicked off by the match against Slovakia which we lost 0-1. Then we played Morocco and comfortly won 4-1. In the U20 Mini World Cup we got one of the toughest opponenets in the 1st round - Switzerland. It was great match, but unlucky we lost 2-3. All left friendlies were played with U20 category and they did well going through the season with 7-3-4 record. Also we moved forward in the ranking - from 63th place to current 54th.

I think that I'm fully prepared to the WCQ and we have the capacity to fight for the promotion to WC, it's my goal, nothing less. Also I want to thank Marek0090 for his help during the season! :)

Well I think that you did a lot of good work here and that we have some little chances in U21 qualification. We have the highest mark of our u21 NT so far...only bad thing is that we did not reach 48th place in rank, which would give us easier qualification group...

Good job, the U21 squad looks good, the average mark is good, I know we lack a few good mids, but I am pretty sure thats the best U21 squad Slovenia had in the last 5 seasons. Thank you Andy for leading it and thanks to Marek & friends for training our players and updating the database.
Hope you guys keep doing it. ;)

We both want to continue and hopefully you all trust us so that I will be reelected to lead U21 next season. I believe we made very decent squad throughout the season which is now prepared for WCQ :)

First, thank you for your votes and support :) I really appreciate it!

It's the start of the new season and with it there comes WCQ! We get quite tough group and it will be very hard to make it into the WC itself. Right, on Friday we start the campaign with very important match against Armenia.

Also I set up the full schedule, here is the list of friendlies:

Finally, I have some time. I'm so sorry, we were sooo close, just one match to go. I don't know what to say more, it was an opportunity that come once in a while.

Thank you all for the support, training the players and getting us updated about them. I will not continue in the next season so I wish your nation all the best and thank you for the opportunity to coach your U21 team. :) Also thank you Marek0090 for your big help during the stretch.

Great season, good matches :), a bit unlucky there at the end, but you did great. Thanks a lot for leading the U21 team, and if you ever come back, you got my vote ;)
