So, now we start this season with the U20 selection! Since this is a friendly match, here is the first line-up.

England will play with the U21, but that's no problem. We will now try to finally win. We have caught a very strong generation in defense and I am spoilt for choice! In total there are at least 7 players in the question and 3-4 is very interesting. We will test now Sebastian Gjerdingen, his skills are not known!

In midfield I still have the problem that the skills of two MID's (Odd Martin Storås and Terje By) are still unknown because the Norwegian manager never reads my mails. By the way, you can also use Sokker asistente to update the players' skills automatically (see the U21 homepage). For this reason I try to use other players whose skills are known to me. For example Reidar Alvær, who had three ups in only 5 or 6 weeks. If this goes on like this, he will become a regular player in the U21 next season!

Striker: I was able to find another striker in the person of Magnar Skar who can replace the red-blocked Frank Bjørk.

Report from the 1st game of the new season

Well, we lost once again, against an England, who also used numerous U21 players. The defeat is therefore partly explainable. If you look at the two goals scored against us (check the link for a small view), it could have been avoided. We put our money on defenders, who have to have even more tactical discipline.



Also the fact that I played low was not good for our defense, first of all, because we were always defending and secondly, we couldn't attack like that.

All this will be adjusted on the next game. It will be a challenge because our defenders can defend, but they are slow like slugs, but that is being improved. Many of them get pacetraining!

And it's still a problem when our U19 strikers have to play against opposing U21 defs. Our U19 strikers have a good level for their age, but they are just normal and not prodigies! I will now try to optimize the tactics!

Report: 2nd Matchday

Again a dumb defeat, but this time it wasn't a dumb defeat, because we could celebrate our first two goals after having failed to score for 5 games. This was mainly because our opponent also used the U20 like we did and we made some tactical adjustments. It's not easy to find a suitable tactic for our U20, because our defense (although defensively strong) is still too slow, but as far as I know, everyone is training pace and this handicap should be fixed by the end of the season.

But we also played against strong Finns (high art of the Finnish coach that he complains about a weak player material!) and for the goals was responsible for everything Per Kildal! With two clever Kildal crosses our 19-year-old strikers only had to push the ball into the goal. We can live with this result, but we have to stop losing slowly, even if we play extra with the U20, but our efforts will bear fruit in the end! Promised!

Next week we will play the Mamma Mia Cup (at home against Nicaragua) But I am very confident that we will be able to celebrate a sense of achievement this time, because our tactics are finally starting to bear fruit!
