With pleasure I refer to this link. There I have already made a first short analysis about the situation of Norway. There you can also find some opinions about us and about the World Championship in general

First WC-match: Magyarország U21 - Norge U21 0:0
We have the first World Cup game behind us! I watched the match and I have to say: it was incredibly exciting and both teams could have won. There was good luck and bad luck. So in the end it was a fair result for me.
From the Norwegian point of view, the draw against Hungary (7th in the world ranking) is already a big thing. Our guys were tactically perfect and fought in such a way that you didn't even notice that Hungary is actually number 7 in the world. You have to get that right, both our players and a good matching tactic!
Hungary had hit our goal line twice, but we also had some good chances to score when, for example, our striker Nistad failed miserably against the strong Hungarian goalkeeper. One time it was a 1vs1 duel and the shot was quite good and the other time was after a corner kick just before the 90th minute. Nistad had really head, but the Hungarian goalie reacted very strongly.
We had a majority in the midfield and created very nice passes. Our defence was very strong at times, but they were a bit lax at times and our strikers had a lot of trouble with the strong Hungarian defence anyway. What makes me especially happy is that I surprised the Hungarian coach with my tactic! This achievement is also worthy of recognition because we also played with a very strong U21 coach.
A look at the game of our group: The Swiss and Finns also played draws. So everything is still open and the next two games will be decisive!
ps:
Oh yes, what I am particularly pleased about is the performance of our substitute goalkeeper! Røine has played relatively strong! At least in this game he made us forget our regular goalkeeper and that's good, because we will need him next week!

Awesome start! Well done slamtam, wish you the best of luck with the next game ^_^
Thx guys!
After analyzing the game, I have now discovered a few construction spots on our side, which I hope to be able to fix in the next game. So we can still optimize our performance. Our next opponent, Suomi, is absolutely "beatable", even though they became world champions in the last World Cup!
@Tolis
Nice start victory! 5:0 ;)

Second WC-match: Suomi U21 - Norge U21
In a few hours we're playing the defending champion! Of course I've been working on the tactics for a long time. But today there will certainly be two tactics used and we still can't fall back on the services of our regular goalie. Our substitute has proved to be a good choice. This game is crucial for the further course of the game. If we get 3 points, stand with half a leg in the next round, get one point, then everything is open and if we get 0 points, then it will be rather difficult.
Well, I am curious if we can do something against the defending champion.

Thanks rohamkacsa for your message! I hope you did not play with a "reserve team"! If you did, you must be incredibly strong! Good luck in the next game, but I keep my fingers crossed for Switzerland this time, but only in this game :)
Tough game vs Finland, but still a win in the last game will see us through! You can do it slamtam ^_^
Hehehe! thx Lorre! You can now see my report!
Second WC-match: Suomi U21 - Norge U21
My dear people!
We played the second game last Friday night! As you may have noticed, we lost that game! Complaining and whatnot will get us much further.
The sober analysis is simple: Finland deserved to win. But they weren't as strong as in the last World Cup, as the result says, but you noticed that the players also have very high B-skills! Two goals of the Finns came after a corner kick! I have very rarely experienced that, but that's what happened. Our goalie looked very bad in both scenes. But the third goal of the Finns was extra great and our defenders were demoted to extras. That can happen! But our substitute goalie also had a lot of strong scenes, but he's a goalie who doesn't play in an extra-class or ultra-bad way.
We scored 1 goal out of 5 chances. That's a bit low, but the Finns have a very strong goalie who can also play in a class of his own. Of these 5 chances 3 were almost 100% and only one of them was scored! That means that we also had a chance to win! That's the good news and another good news is that we are not out for good. Depending on the results in the coming friday we are most likely further with a 2-0 win, but with a win with 3 goals difference we are almost 100% through. That means, against Switzerland not only one win is needed, but also many goals. For this game our main goalie will come back, hopefully with a little more form.

Third WC-match: Norge U21 - Schweiz U21
This is the game of all games right now! And also especially spicy in all respects!
The coach of the Norway is Swiss and he knows the Swiss player material quite well. He also knows how strong the Swiss players are, because he also has two strikers in the service of the Swiss.
Nevertheless, I'll do everything I can so that Norway can get one round further. With a win of 3 goals difference we are 100% sure. With a win with one or two goals difference we are dependent on outside help.
Well, I've thought about it for a long time, what tactics we could use to beat the Swiss. We'll know the result in a few hours. I am very curious!
Let's go!

Third WC-match: Norge U21 - Schweiz U21
Slamtams Achilles was hit
Unfortunately this game did not become a surprise! We had to deal with a backlog already in the early stages. The Swiss scored after a standard situation! Again a goal after a corner! How annoying is that! Just like against the Finn! That's very weird, because this has practically never happened to me before, but things happen!
We chose a maybe too defensive tactic, but it was intended that way and the Swiss actually had trouble creating real goal chances, but this defensive tactic also resulted in the Swiss being able to create a lot of goal chances. On the other hand, our midfield was a disaster, but this is due to my tactics.
But in any case, we can be satisfied to have been there at all and to have scored a point at least in the first game. Our strikers are just one year too young for this World Cup! So we only scored one goal.
In any case, we're now working with the next generation and I'm scouting again and I've already got a first squad of U20 players for the upcoming game against Spain on Friday! Our biggest difficulty is to fill the goalie position optimally.
With the defenders it does not look bad. With the midfielders it looks a bit critical. There I put my hopes on a good scouting. With the forwards we are top occupied!

You prepared well, gave it your best shot! You`re dedicated and put work into it, just keep it up and you will get good results through the season :)

We had had three test matches in the last three weeks. It was the opportunity to test our U20. We lost all three games significantly, but you don't have to be very surprised. But no problem, I'm doing my best and trying to build the team of the future step by step. As you can see, I'm facing a huge construction site.
We start with the goalkeepers. We don't have a 20-year-old goalkeeper and then we have a number of young goalies, who usually haven't been coached since youth school and got the ups through general training. So it's going to be difficult to keep the zero if trained strikers are shooting at us.
With the defenders I have a bigger choice, but at the moment they are not ideally trained (with a few exceptions). You can see that, because the players don't have any tactical discipline. I will think about only putting players in the squad who I know are trained. If necessary, I will use much younger players like the 18 year old Øyvind Eid [37025958].
With the Mids we have the same picture as with the defenders. Only Emil Skotnes [36897661], Odin Njærheim [37143009] and Vidar Mordt [36965241] are players who reach a good U20 level, but stamina is a big problem for them.
I'm satisfied with the forwards. We have 4 strikers here who are ready for action and we can use them. Unfortunately the best one is injured for 14 days and the other one has hardly any form. I hope this situation will improve!
Dear Community! Help me! If you see a Norwegian player, please post the player skills here or update them in the DB. Do you also have a young player that I have overlooked and is being trained diligently? Please give me the data!

I am incredibly impressed with the dedicated job you`re doing! I`ll try to help with some scouting :)
Good people,
I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to you, but that doesn't mean that nothing more has been done either. On the contrary, I'm still intensively scouting further and that is very time-consuming (also to convince owners to train their players after all). But slowly it is working. The squad for next season is very weak and we have to keep working hard on it.
We are now in the Copa America and we have survived the group phase. Now we are in the knockout phase against Colombia. (see Link here for more information)
I'll be back later to present an overview of the squad. I am very much dependent on your cooperation. I expect a stronger connection to the U21 :). There I will also address our goalkeeper problem and present a possible solution. But first we will enjoy the game against Colombia.
