Luca Brecel blijft de wereld verbazen. Het 15-jarige talent is in Roemenië Europees kampioen geworden. Hij versloeg in de finale de 31-jarige Roy Stolk met 7-4. Eerder op het toernooi was ook Wendy Jans Europees kampioen geworden.
Super hé :) Maar hij kan pas meedoen met de echte pro's als hij 16 is. Nog een jaartje wachten dus :)

The European Players Tour Championship in Bruges.
Welcome to the first European Players Tour Championship (EPTC) event to be staged in Belgium as part of the £800,000 Players Tour Championship.
The Boudewijn Seapark in Bruges will host the tournament from September 30 through October 3, attracting many of the world’s top professional players.
A record entry will see 91 of the 96 players on the professional circuit taking part in the first PTC event to be staged in Belgium.
In action, will be current world champion, Neil Robertson plus Stephen Hendry, Steve Davis, Ronnie O’Sullivan and Mark Williams who collectively boast 18 world titles, and these are just a few of the stars who will be competing for 50,000 euros prize fund on offer.
The Players Tour Championship consists of twelve events with the top 24 ranked players on the Order of Merit gaining automatic entry to the lucrative Finals in March 2011.
A qualifying event on September 30 will feature Europe’s top amateurs fighting for one of the coveted places in the draw to join the top professional players in the battle for the right to be crowned snooker’s King of Bruges when the event reaches its climax on October 3.
