According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Real Madrid boss Florentino Perez could give up on signing Valencia striker David Villa. Apparently, he is now planning to bid around 40-50 million Euros plus Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuain in order to get Zlatan Ibrahimovic from Inter Milan. However, Inter Milan officials would only accept money to let their Swedish forward leave. As reported earlier today, their asking price is 94 million Euros

De 2de helft was voor Egypte en 2 goals in dezelfde minuut waw. Er zat zeker meer in, maar soms verkeerde keuzes gemaakt door bv niet te trappen.
Webb legde het spel stil tijdens die penalty, op dat moment had hij nog geen gegeven en moest wachten tot de 4de ref de replay zag, alvorens zijn beslissing te geven. Dat is wel positief als ze zo gaan beginnen arbitreren. Egypte verdiende op zijn minst een draw tegen een flauw Brazilië, dat 3/4 goals scoorde op stilstaande fases. Kaka's penalty werd haast gestopt.

Na 33' moest USA verder met dien, na een tackle op Gatusso. Net voor de rust kwam de VS voor via een penalty. In de 2de helft kwam Italy terug en won het met 3-1. Aardige goals gezien.

Nicolas Lodeiro has been in top form with Nacional of Montevideo this year, and it seems that his efforts haven’t gone unnoticed. The talented attacker has attracted the attention of Liverpool and his club have said they are willing to negotiate a future transfer.
The player’s performances in the Copa Libertadores have been particularly impressive, but if Nacional reach the decisive stages of the competition a move could be put on hold. Nacional are the favourites to advance to the semi-finals of Latin America’s most important club competition when they face Palmeiras on Wednesday.

Real Madrid may end interest in David Villa
Real Madrid director of sport Jorge Valdano has revealed the club may end their interest in Valencia striker David Villa because the asking price is too high.
Reports suggest Barca are prepared to pay around €50 million, as well as offer players Bojan Krkic and Jose Martin Caceres, for Villa.
And having already shelled out for Brazilian Kaka this summer, and with a world record offer on the table for Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo, Valdano admits they are not prepared to better that bid.
"If Barca have offered €50 million for Villa, plus Bojan and Caceres, I would sell if I was Valencia because we're not going to try and top that," the Argentinian told Radio Marca.
"We have been in discussions over the last week and there were disagreements. On top of money, they want a player and that was causing problems.
Valdano also confirmed they are unlikely to bring Franck Ribery to the Bernabeu, again because for the price is not right.
Madrid are aiming to keep their squad at 25 players next season, and the arrival of Kaka and Ronaldo means many other names will be available for transfer.
Players such as Arjen Robben, Rafael van der Vaart and Wesley Sneijder could be on their way out of the Bernabeu, and Valdano acknowledges that may cause friction with some squad members.
