Benfica winger Angel di Maria has reportedly undergone a medical for Real Madrid in South Africa, according to Record.
Di Maria has been linked with a move to Madrid since the arrival of Jose Mourinho at the Santiago Bernabeu last month to replace Manuel Pellegrini.
The 22-year-old has a €40 million release clause, but it is believed the Spanish capital club could use some of their Castilla players as part of the deal.
Ik spreek toch niet over LFC. ?
Dat clubs geld kakken is toch een normale zaak geworden? :)

De kuisvrouw spelen? Nee serieus, is een ferme speler en een goalgetter als winger. Gloriemomenten gekent met hem in de basis.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has lined up a swoop for Germany World Cup 2010 star Mesut Ozil, according to the Daily Star.
Ozil, 21, was in sparkling form in the 4-0 victory against Australia at the weekend and had impressed for Werder Bremen last season. With Cesc Fabregas determined to engineer a move to Barcelona, the attacker could fill in the gap left by the club captain.
Wenger is set to splash the cash this summer after the purse strings were loosened at the Emirates. Along with Ozil, Everton defender Phil Jagielka and Bordeaux midfielder Yoann Gourcuff could also be on their way to north London.

Joe Cole will be offered a massive £135,000-a-week deal with Arsenal once he returns from World Cup duty with England. Arsene Wenger has put together a whopping financial package that would make the former Chelsea star the highest-paid player at The Emirates.

We can reveal that Cole, 28, has only to sign on a free transfer and agree a four-year package worth £20million. The deal works out at £4m a year plus an additional £2.5m a year in signing on fees.
