Nee echt ni. Hij staat naast Touré (of Lescott) in de verdediging. Hij lijkt zelfs eerste keuze centraal.
Op de defmid staan (of stonden) vorig jaar De Jong, Barry en Zabaleta.

dan is dat pas vorig seizoen veranderd. Zabaleta was van origine een wingback en Komany stond als defmid.

Both holding midfielders are available from Real Madrid at modest prices, and both can perform the Mascherano role.

The classy defender is wanted by Arsenal, but Hodgson could use his influence with the player to persuade him to switch to Anfield.

Available on a free, just the attacking player Liverpool need.

Already signed on a free transfer as cover for Torres, he will add strength to the strike force.
