Does anybody know roughly how many opticians/optometrists there are in Belgium?
Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

someone who tests your vision and prescribes glasses and contact lenses etc rather than an ophthalmologist who has a more surgical/medical focus.

nee, opticien is opticien, maar optometrist is blijkbaar een echt beroep ^^

Excellent thanks. just had a query from a client wondering if the ratio of opticians to population was the same in Sweden as in Belgium.
As if have that info sitting around..
At least now I know what the Belgian equivalent of Yellow Pages is.
