Here is my analysis :
First, I think the victory is deserved. The tactic was much better than last time especially on throws-in. But this time we scored the occasions we missed in our match against Brazil. If our victory is justified we're still very lucky they didn't score because they also got huge occasions, mainly thanks to us, exploiting a lot the mistakes of our defenders. But Matthijs did a great job and prevented us some goals.
Where we won the match is probably in the throws-in. They did a lot of bad throws-in losing the ball quickly and we transformed them in occasions for us. Exactly like against Brazil except this time it was for us. The 2nd and 4th goal are coming from a bad throw-in I think.
Still the tactic is better it is not perfect. I spotted some problems that I'll fix (on some throw-in and in defense ==> the defenders are way too static and in attack too).
This victory brings us at the 1st place since Switzerland defeated Brazil 4-1 !!! Their tactic 5-4-1 seemed to be really effective. For next week a draw would be enough then but sure it won't be enough :) We'll go to win it even if we have tons of injuries in our A squad. For next week we'll get Rigaux, De Vos and Bouchet back. So I hope it won't be too important if Eben is injured (but we'll miss him for the 1/8th final and maybe the 1/4)
Hot actions :
8' Eggermont loses the ball and Jolly sends it in throws-in. After the pass the 2 strikers are offside... but not for the ME and they get a tremendous occasion. Hopefully they don't score. I'd be mad if we were screwed because of that.
10' First throw-in for us. Bouchet to Eben who centers but Allard finds the keeper.
12' Bouchet resists to the defender and goes alone on his wing. Center on Allard and... the keeper again.
20' Long passing for Nabert but hopefully Bossaert is there and stops it perfect in the penalty zone.
26'-27' Allard wins the ball in the midfield and passes to Liebens. Luckyly the ball bounces on their defender, Kabelitz. Liebens resists the tackle and doesn't miss that huge occasion : 1-0
28' Bad throw-in for Germany : Allard gets the ball and passes to Bennesteker. This one throws Liebens on orbit but loses his 1 vs 1... but wait ! Liebens in on the rebound and takes his chance on far distance !! 2-0
This goal goes to tbeirke who helped me a lot to make the tactic especially in attack.
35' Their winger resists to our defenders' assaults and makes a good center. hopefully their striker couldn't control and Matthijs has an easy ball.
Comment : The stats are balanced but we're dominating in the number of occasions and we are rewarded by 2 goals.
HALF TIME
47' Long passing between the defs and Matthijs wins the 1 vs 1
48' Free-kick for a fault over Bouchet. Amant kicks the free kick and finds Allard. This one shots at distance and aims : 3-0. Superdivine form >>> formidable striker

53' Huge occasion for them. We give them this occasion I should say. 1st Amant throws the ball out. Willems gets then loses the ball and finally Eggermont gets tackled from behind. We're still lucky they didn't score.
54' Amant takes his time and loses the ball. Hopefully the shot gives nothing.
55'-56' Long passing over the defenders who are too static (my advisors were right) and SuperMatthijs is there to save us. He kicks off the ball badly that comes back and repairs his bad passing.
58' Far distance shot stopped by SuperMatthijs (SM !?)
62' Once again bas throw-in for them. But the offside tactic is on double edge sword and Willems passes easily to Allard alone. He misses for 10cm.
64' Mistakes of their manager ? They already did 3 changes after 55 min. With Panse injured in their team (who was already slightly injured in 1st half) they are forced to play 10 vs 11. It is one of the reason I don't like to make too many changes.
Now Willems is alone. Good for us.
68' Good throw in but the pass from Bennesteker is slightly too strong. It could have been another good occasion.
75' Bad throw-in for them. Willems gets the ball and passes to Bouchet who loses the ball but Willems is there to gets it back once again. Willems/Bouchet on the wing = kif-kif (is there an expression for that in ndls ? :P) Willems runs, takes his time, makes the pass perfect and their keeper has no chance : 4-0

80'-81' Jolly keeps the ball too much time and gets tackled. Their winger centers and the ball bounces on Aerts. But who is there ? SM twice !! Once again he repairs the mistakes of the defense.
82' Same old thing : the ball bounces on the defender and the striker takes it. Unfortunately Allard doesn't shot and the following throw-in is really bad.
90' Allard resists a few tackles and makes a long shot that misses the target by 10cm.
Comment : They were camping a bit more in our side. This is probably a consequence of their 'offside tactic'. The beginning of the 2nd half was for them but we resisted thanks to a great SM. In the end he saved us once again from a goal. In this half Germany could have scored easily once or twice.
