See ... the ME considerd your crying as singing ... you're to blame :p
no, but seriously, is our defense just so weak? Van Heck played dreadful, so I looked at his value and it's barely 1.9M ???

I'm sorry if it's over this way but if my faults are present it was certainly not a lucky mission!
My staff and I worked to play a great world championship but the first game lost in an incredible way with a score without explanation has affected us especially in today's game.
In fact in today's match up to 70 minutes the match was 0-0 after my training change, set in case of a tie because we were forced to win, we lost the game.
I must say I am very disappointed because the result does not correspond to the commitment and the work put in this project.
To respond to vaimonen I repeat what was said a few months ago.
The holders of the Belgian national team are almost all over 30 years because the generation of 27/29 is much weaker and this means that playing with the 32-year-old involves a risk of loss of skills that occurred especially in the players of the defensive department.
In midfield the situation is slightly better but even here due to the form we can not use our best wing, Husson, and one of the strongest mid, Olen.
But the biggest problem is in fact the attack we have played without any triple or double superdivino and the players who played with ADDO (also dropped in his skills) are all incomplete players at least in one of the three main skills.
Belgium needs urgent renewal and above all that managers constantly train more talents because the team does not lose positions and strength in the world ranking.
Laurens Van Heck has played because there are players like Nils Bouvier, Nicholas Wuyts, Damien Lenaerts out of form for a long time and players like Raf Van De Zande, Stefaan Baeyens, Roel Van den Brande who have drop down in their skills.
As I said before luck certainly did not give us a hand!
I still apologize with the whole community but what feels the biggest disappointment today is me!

The disappointment of the elimination from the world championship is still very strong and I still apologize to the community and if there were mistakes on my part certainly good luck was not on our side especially for not being able to use 4/5 players holders for the fault of the form and of accidents.
Now it is time to rebuild the team for the next qualifiers and this opportunity can be given by the upcoming European U27 championships where you can try new players.
The big problem, as mentioned several times, is that the players of 27/29 years are not at the height of the old owners and it will take more than one season because they can reach a level of equal skills.
All Belgian managers must train the young talents in a more precise and constant way, because in the 3/4 seasons they can recover the gap.
In yesterday's match we faced a very insidious team that was eliminated from the world championship only because of the goal difference.
Perfect first time and well played match in each department.
Debut for the young talent L. De Moerlooze that can be one of the protagonists of the future.

As already happened WC, and we have some friendly before the U27 European Championship, I believe that it would be interesting already to give extras to the younger generations, making friendly U27, U26 and even U25 in the next 3 weeks.
I dont see much sense to use players over 30yo in these friendly matches.

I agree with you but if my opponents do not want to play with under players I have to make a competitive team in the field.
It does not depend on my will, in any case there will be the European championship where we can test the new generations!

As far as I know, there are no regulations to a minimum age for NT's for friendly matches, so your opponent's opinion and choices should not affect yours. Friendlies are the ideal medium to test your future players. I'm with Charles on this one. That does not mean that all players should be youngsters, but certainly a way in the middle could be found. It's in our countries benefit to use the friendlies for an amount of younger players to gain some experience. The score in friendlies is less important than the experience both you and the players gain from it. And in the WC you've played with the better players but luck turned his back on us. So a competitive team isn't always the right answer. I'm convinced that you'll be able to make a competitive team with younger players mixed in the team.
I absolutely agree Dtox9!
This thing of mixing the players I already did at the end of last season where I had mixed more experienced players with young players.
I will try to do the same in these friendlies but must also agree the opponent CT otherwise play a team formed by all young against a competitive team makes little sense because it is not a truthful test!
My interest, as well as that of the community, is to make young players grow, but also with an eye to the ranking position that influences the draws (even if in reality the draw was very unlucky at the world championship) for the next qualifications!

Commerman is not in form!
Maybe he needs an NT game to make it better
Maybe he needs an NT game to make it better
I saw, unfortunately, the form has already done its damage during the world championship, it's a period that all goes wrong but we will be able to raise our heads!
week 08 - Friendly Hellas U28
Challenging match against a team with great potential like Greece.
Let's play with U28 to try new players and give young talents experience and training!

A game not played particularly well that saw a team play with many debutants.
Some good answers but the most obvious problem we have is the lack of strength of our attackers, which are still very incomplete.
In midfield some positioning errors of the two outside midfielders sometimes too wide but I expected another type of tactics from our opponent. Opponent that was certainly higher than the level of individual players, in fact, especially in defense have almost always won the duels individual!
In any case, we continue to test the U 27/28 in view of the upcoming U27 European Championship!
I wanted to emphasize that today Spain wins on penalties against Italy after playing a great game.
I remember that in our qualifying match the Spaniards had a lot less chances from goals and especially until 70 the match was in perfect balance!
This certainly rewards the performance of our team against the team that currently plays the best sokker in the World Championship!
Have a nice weekend
