This week we will start the friendlies in preparation for the next cycle, playing against Uruguay U20. Since our elimination last week, I started to ask for the updates of the players of the next generations, we still need to map more options. I'm going to make a rotation of players with 19yo (generation of the next World Cup) so that they can earn extras too.

A sleepy game to watch. In the tactical change we managed to convert our only goal. We used 4 U19 players during the match: Jappe Pavone, Ismaël Stijnen, Geoffrey Berghmans and Maxime De Jonghe.

Another sleepy game, these friendlies are hard to watch. Few chances created for each team and a draw ended up being a fair score. We'll continue using the U19-U20 giving more extras.

Another draw.

None of the teams had a high chance of winning. The most kicks were from outside the area, without great danger to goalkeepers. Christopher Smekens was the highlight of the match with great assists.

We have a solid defense and a medium midfield. Our biggest problem today is the attack. The plan to give extra training to U19 follows the same. I will always try to put a 3-5 in the field.

The last weeks have been insane for me. I could not post anything about the game or organize the team better. From next week things will be better. On the last match we were dominated, our moves were stopped by the advanced serbian defense, where we were several times in offside.

We'll face Italy U20 next week.

Today we'll play against Italy U20.

One of our U19 got injured last wednesday and will not be able to play. Therefore there will be the debut of another U19 in the second half.

Even with a red card, we dominated the match and we managed to achieve the victory. We got two less on the field from the injury of one of our ATT at the end of the match. Injury of 23 days :(

Our next friendly would be against Norge U20, but Lorre accepted friendly with another team. I think I'll soon close with our next opponent.

We'll play a friendly U20 against the Netherlands next friday.

We'll face Nederland U20 and we'll have a special guest in command of our team this week: Woody, coach of Poslka U21. Last week I had the opportunity to lead a match in Polska and this week will be his turn here.

Haha... no, it was me who asked him to let me be a coach for this match, he had an opportunity to be a coach in Poland for 1 match, because the guy who would receive the opportunity ignored me and arranged Charles on the improvisation for someone to have the opportunity. :)

First of all, I would like to thank Charles for this unique opportunity. it was a unique experience and I honestly never thought this would happen because in the past Belgium was a rival that I thought of defeating even in my dreams.

It was a challenge and I liked it because I had to leave the comfort zone, I could not use the 2 best midfielders thanks to red card and then I had to seek in tactics a way to get maximum potential from the players in this match.

I saw that the Netherlands was following a pattern of tactics and I did this tactic thinking about 1 thing and in the match against Belgium, Poey preferred to maintain the same tactic of the last match that he had and so we had a lot of offside, but we were good, we could have done better if our players had not made certain mistakes, but that happens.

The Netherlands play very centralized and depends a lot on the skills of its players, so we did not have so many problems, although I was annoyed because I could not see if the test I did would work or not, I'm happy because we won.
