Love it too.. Bad start of the Qualification and throughout all the season we were behind them. But succesive gathering points and making our goal difference good let us challenge in last match to win the group :)



Last week we played a friendly with Cuba and I let myself for some experiments. First of all - I didn't use any of players who were to play a qualification match at their clubs. I didn't want to risk injuries and make owners angry. Despite that fact we had quite strong team and I tested 2 different 4-4-2 tactics. Final result was 3-3. We poorly started the match. Penalty in 3' and second goal for Cuba in 9'.. But then we managed to score 3 times and I hoped we'll win but Cuba equalized.


For upcoming 2 weeks we have planned a match with Suomi and then with Crna Gora. With Suomi we'll play full squads and later probably all friendlies will be played with younger guys (or maybe those who don't have forms and we'll try to give them helping hand with playing some minutes at NT).

12 chances 7 goals.. The ME was with france in this match. No big deal for me

Today I used 2nd choice of guys + those who are in low forms (some of them permanently and some of them lastly - because of injuries for example).


+as Charlieken wrote - match engine made them extra efficient. 7 goals from 12 shot. +I used strange tactic to check some thinkg (first one with 2 atts on one side, close to each other. second one with very wide attackers). if I used them in another order (second one in first half and first one in second half the score would be better - according to tactics which France used).


I arranged with France manager for low form guys + second choice. at his team there was 2 guys who made a difference: Labrousse in the centre (over 4,25M € value) - sth like our Barbez, and also over 4,25M value winger.. it's definitely first squad. I didn't want to risk injuries 2 weeks before World Cup.

here some details to compare:

average form 11 vs 9,18 (with substitutions 11,64 vs 9,21)
average value of players 10M zł vs 8,85M zł (with substitutions 10M vs 8,75M)
(2,5 vs 2,2M in €)




so to sum up - both the squad and the tactic are experimental and - next week I'm gonna use the younger guys. I'd like to see players from today in better forms. Hopefully if they increase - maybe someone of them will play in World Cup..

yep. almost 50k of salary!

but we wanted to use players in lower forms. to give them helping hand.. (I know it's a lottery but still... why not to try).

Opposite situation in case of Barbez. I gave him a little rest because he plays everything and his form is decreasing lately... :(

Also it's not worth the risk in such games.
