yup. last week agaist Crna Gora we played full squad (with testing tactic) and in that game we had one slight injury and the opponent had 2 injuries (one quite long - 25 days, and one for 15 days). but that was 3 weeks before the WC. now it's not time for using full squad :)


Next Saturday we're playing against POrtugal and I need to arranged it but I proposed them U25/26 match

Friendlies are mainly for testing out tactics, checking out new players and look how wide your squad is, so don't worry about the outcome. If you've seen what you needed to see, then job well done ;-)

Labrousse, my training product, never received that much money for one player in my sk life :-)

After serie of a little important friendly matches yesterday we discretely started the World Cup!

I didn't write much in last weeks as I focused on updating the players (I've sent a lot of mails to ask about updates of skills and future plans). And since last week I'm on holiday in Tuscany. That's why I didn't even announce anything about our last game.



Yesterday was the first match and we faced the strongest of our rivals. And we started this campaign in the best way - easy, big win. 4-1! I am very glad about the score.

We had dominance for all the match. We let them for only 3 shots. And the goal for Schweiz was scored after serie of strange errors of our defenders in the box. But that was when the score 4-0.

Now we calmly prepare for the last 2 matches - next week we'll face Crna Gora which also won their game.

I was to reply that it's not done yet but then checked the result of second match in group. Actually we are the first team who matematically is in KO stage! :)

Next week we have no pressure - we can use some younger guys, test something new, let rest the best players or give a chance for players in lower form

last week game was just a formality so I played without our biggest starts. that was the match that engine decide to play with us. normally we should win with big score but at the end it was a draw. As we were sure KO phase of the World Cup we could afford that. I didn't even use the second tactic as... there's no point in revealing all what we have.


Then there was a draw and we were lucky. Among all teams we got the one with lowest rank. But they go promoted from death group with Poland (eliminating Brasil and Deutschland). So I have a lot of respect to that team and what they did. To be honest I should not be afraid before this match but what I'm slightly worried/concerned is the engine which sometimes likes to give a solid handicap to the weaker team. I hope it won't happen 2 times in a row so I was glad to see that in our previous match!


We're starting the match at New Zealands noon, so in few minutes! Fingers crossed!

yep. total domination today (as expected). everything went well and we didn't need to use additional tactic. I'm happy because we didn't have injuries and cards. 3:1 and we're in quarterfinals!

and more and more strong teams are out so we're waiting for rest of todays matches and the draw tomorrow. I don't have my favourites or teams I'd like to avoid so I stay calm and watining. :)
