Subject: [NT-U21] guy fink
Hello to the Danish community.
My name is Guy and I am the coach of Hapoel Tel Aviv from the premier division in Israel.
I saw that there is no local candidate for the U21 manager, so I decide to try and manage your Nt (and close a circle in Sokker)
I have a lot of experience in Sokker, I started playing here in Danmark long time ago (back at 2005) and manage to get to the top division and finish 2nd (to be honest, there was not too many users back then) then I pulled a great keeper and concentrate in training him to be the NT keeper much more then in my team (that relegate to second division).
After the Israeli league was created, I moved there and manage the NT for her first 2 season (actually build it from 0), and those days I am finishing another 2 season coaching her, so I have a lot of experience with the NT too.
This season I won the Israeli cup and finish 4th in the premier league.
I believe that Danmark could qualify for the first U21WC, and will do my best to bring her there.
I don't speak your language, but I believe that with my English and the Google Translate I will be able to communicate with the coach's and the community.
This is some information about me, I will be more then happy to answer any question you have
Regards
Guy

Greetings! Nice to see a wellknown and experienced manager run for a Danish office. It's a tough run, but maybe you'll be the first to succeed in beating a Dane. :)
One of the most important aspects of U21-coaching is in my opinion to keep yourself updated on the players' skills. Have you had any thoughts on how you're going to accomplish this task? And have you got the time for it?

I don't think that it would be much of a problem - 99 per cent of all Danes are fluent in English anyway. Plus, I'm quite sure that someone from the Danish community would be willing to help you out translating info, and your take on games, players, etc.
A few questions:
Have you seen our youngsters playing this season? And what did you think about the quality on show?
Will you play five across the back in WC qualifiers, and what are your tactical favourites, if I may say so?
Good luck :)

What is the time difference between Denmark and Israel ? it wouldn't be optimal if you where sleeping every time a match was played! ? Thats a big barriere if you have to be up at 4 am Israel time every friday night to discuess the match...
Then i see no problem what so ever in having an foreign NT Coach
First, Thank you :)
I do believe that keeping and tracking the youngsters is one of the most important thing for the present and of course the future of the community.
I have see that for tracking your oldie players you use Sokkerman.com database but I am not familiar with it,
In Israel we are using this NTDB and its simple for the coach's and the user to update.
In this NTDB, I can see the last update of the players, and usually I use to send a mail to every coach that didn't update his players for more then a month.

Unforthently, I havent see them yet,
But I believe that have the same or little better skills as Israel U21 player that I know very well.
I will be happy to tell my opinion about the line up and result after this weekend (today and tomorrow there is a holiday here in Israel, so I will see it later).
I can not tell right away the defence line up, cause it will be consider according to our opponent.
As I see it defence is the most important thing today in Sokker, starting from the defenders them self, and going all through the strikers, so basically I like to use 5 at the back (usually with 2 wingback to close the wingers due to the fact that the easiest and most chances to score came from cross's).
In my team (as strikers trainer) I play combination of 4-3-3 and 5-3-2 with very high defence (offside trap) and 2 wingers, but as I say before, I will decide the tactic regarding the other side abilities:)

As Kremer.dk say, there is almost no difference in time
BTW..... I used to manage Israel NT team when I live in the state and the time difference was 7 hours, but yet I woke up every Saturday morning at 3 A.M. to watch and talk about the game, and then went back to bed::)

i think it'll be better just to stick with your english, google translate sucks;P

I just manage to some match's that have been play lately,
From what I have see, the Danmark have nice defenders but little slow, very nice Mids, and nice Strikers that have little lack in striking skills.
I don't want to talk about the tactic , as I don't know the player exact skills, or the opponent tactic in the past (that I believe have major part of the final tactic decision made by the coach),
but in general I can say that if I will be elect,
the defence will be at least one sector back and with another extra player,
the Mids will play smaller part of the field (only the winger will be running along the line) and will not enter the opponent goal box (unless they have out+ strike),
and the strikers will play more wider and not together on almost the same spot.
From what I have see, Danmark U21 is not falling form other medium size nation and should qualified for the first U21WC (unless the draw put us in a group with polska, Romania, Spain and Belgium:)
I would like to wish good luck to congrats MichelClopin and wish him good luck (though I will be happy to beat him).
If you have any other question, I will be happy to hear.

Great group we got.
Polska, Ecuador, Shiperia, Senegal and Chaina.
I think that we can finish 2nd place without any problem, and might suprise Polska for the 1st place

It won't be easy, but with the right tactic and some luck its possible ;)
The best of luck in the elections guy , as a former assistent to you in Israel NT for 2 seasons in the past i can say you defenetly deserve it , hope the voters here in Danmark will think the same.

You will be introducing DK in the NTDB-database? That's certainly about time someone did that, IMHO ;-)
