to be any good at under 21 level you need to have the following skills on players (this is my view not guy finks i may add).

To be a defender - minimum he has to have pace and defence - tech and passing is a huge bonus at u21 level but you usually settle for fast defenders - defence roughly unearthly and pace min outstanding.

PM (general) - the hardest part of the U21 setup is actually getting decent PM players. For me its a must to have pace, passing and tech at minimum outstanding. PM well thats debatable excellent is fine, anthing above is a bonus.

PM (winger) as above really no defence required.
PM (DM) defence higher than PM formidable defence (minimum)

Striker - pace, tech and striker required here. Tech and pace have to be minimum incredible to get anywhere in the u21 games. Striker level varies depending on what team you are playing. Unearthly or above in this (along with pace and tech) will be a player who plays against the better teams.

So for you (in my opinion).

Njal - tech, striker and some more pace - at nearly 20 he has slim chances to make U21.
Marcus - funny player here - could be PM, DM or forward. Now is the time to decide what you want to do with him - tech and striker for forward OR tech, passing and hope for random pops in PM for winger. Or just hammer him in defence and he will almost certainly make u21 grade
Tyge - at 19 he is too slow he requires pace urgently. Even with pace with his low passing and defence he would at best be a bit player in midfield probably in the middle offensive position.

Please this is just my opinion and it may differ greatly from Guys and others views.

From the information I have,
the minimum requirements for the 19yo are as follow :

Keep :
keeper : Brilliant (14)
pace : v.g (9)
passing : Adequate (6)

Def:
defender : Excellent (10)
Pace : Excellent (10)
P"m, Tech, Passing : Poor (3)

Mid :
P'm + Pace + Tech + Passing > 35

** minimum Good (7) in each skill.

Strike :

Strike, Tech, Pace : v.g (9)




Hope that a lot of you will update new players that are much better :)




P.S - Stamina - min Adequate (6) beside keepers.

Regarding your players,
At 19yo we have 2 much better strikers,
And at 18yo we have about 7-10 better (or equal due to pace) strikers.

So their best chances are as Mids.
Tyge Stadsgaard that have the best chances now,need little more pace and passing.

It is looking good, but we are not quite through yet...

If Bulgaria beats Chile or it becomes a draw, then we need to secure points versus Canada.

But as I wrote there,
Its great draw as it leave our destiny in our legs.

A draw next week and we make it,
and if Chile will win,
we can qualify with a same(or one goal more) lose.

My aim from this match was 0-0,
and I am happy though there could be much improvements in the tactic, mainly in the trough ins.
