Subject: [U21NT] U21NT Updates

My original post somehow deleted,
But as I wrote there,
Its great draw as it leave our destiny in our legs.

A draw next week and we make it,
and if Chile will win,
we can qualify with a same(or one goal more) lose.

My aim from this match was 0-0,
and I am happy though there could be much improvements in the tactic, mainly in the trough ins.

Certainly an improvement on our last meeting with Chile :)

I guess we were a lilttle bit lucky in some parts of the game, but Bergs one on one with the keeper in the 23th minute and Passers freekick on the post at the end of the first half might have won us the game, actually.

It's clear to see that our young players improve faster than their - hopefully we will qualify for the world cup next friday :)

Congratulations Guy on qualification from a tricky group. Well done and best of luck in the next phase

Huge congratz to guy and to the rest of the Danish community. Well done!

It was a hard game... and in some point we were lucky, tho the statistics tells something else. Canada had some great chances and so did we.... but im a bit disappointed about our strikers (except Horton). I really hope that they well turn out more effective when we'll hit the next round.

Personally, im' really proud of Jess Wilhelmsens amazing equalizer... one h... of a lucky hit!!! :P

Yup, Malta had some terrible miss today (including penalty kick) , and Obu too

Luckly Uffe is always there when we need him :)



Net week we will face Azerbaijan U21,
We will play with our U19 (please update them ASAP),
And I hope that no one will kill me if we will lose and lose some ranking points:))

Personally, I'm chuffed that we've been able to qualify against opponents who had practically all-21 year olds in their lineups.

And allthough I know that some qualified teams have been playing 20 year-olds the last few weeks, I really fancy our chances next season with the likes of Nørkjær, Berg, Passer, Bøsselykke, Falck and so on.

Oh, by the way: It might be a good idea not to flash players in this thread with regards to next season ;)
