mine are in blues...try to imagine them in red and with the great danish players (surely better than mine)...obviously the opponent wasn't so strong even if he's on eesti top league :)

Could you elaborate a little, what's good with this formation? :)
this is one of my preferred way to play
this kind of playing needs:
-a global high pace (all players should be at least solid in pace...with NT maybe verygood or excellent at least)
-defensive line could be higher or lower depending on opponents forwards "pace" and depending on play-passing skill of opponent team (the higher it would be and the lower would be the defence to avoid direct-pass and leave the forwards alone with the keeper)
With slower opponent forwards the line would be higher and playing a sort of offside-trap
-an high skilled midfielder (high defense and passing) with some technique more for the Right and Left sided when go through the flank (see Civelli on the 4th gol...crossed from the throw-in line)
-the attack is the great thing of this kind of playing....the R&L sided (as in the final tactic even they don't stay always at the same place) need obviously striker-pace but high technique and play-pass-def (complete forward) but technique at all
the central forward (Diana in my match) will use the most of direct-passes from the midfielders (and also defenders) so he need much more PACE (Diana is incredible) than other two ATT
he's always on the direct line of the ball (so he did much more movement from right to left) just to be in the line with the player with ball to start when a direct-pass come from behind.

Can you tell us a little bit about the positions of the players? And maybe the runs, they make? What make this tactics work particularly well? Why you're using a 4 man-defenceline for example?

Jamen jeg har jo fået helt lyst til at stille op til valg denne gang, selvom det er nogle kompetente udenlandske managere jeg er oppe imod. Jeg kopierer lige valgtalen fra stemmesedlen ind i tråden her:
Efter at have rundet tænkeboksen er jeg kommet frem til (læs: har fået lov til) at jeg har både tid og lyst til at indtage posten som landstræner, i hvert fald for næste sæson, og derfor stiller jeg nu op til valg. Det er jo et stort privilegium at få mulighed for at arbejde med et hold af den kvalitet som Danmark efterhånden kan byde på.
Jeg er 34 år, og har spillet Sokker siden 26-04-2005 = 4 hele sæsoner. Jeg er netop rykket op i superligaen (huzzaaa), og opnåede i den forgangne sæson en 3. plads i Cuppen. Jeg synes efterhånden at jeg har ok styr på spillet (vi får se næste sæson), men det her spil er (heldigvis) så dybt at der kan læres meget endnu. :)
Derudover bruger jeg fritiden på 2 andre manager spil: Hattrick, samt Cycling for Fun – et cykelmanagerspil. Nå ja… og så er der jo også min kone og den lille tidsrøver på lidt over 1 år. ;)
Jeg synes k-thorsen har gjort et godt stykke arbejde med at få os i top 10, men jeg kunne godt tænke mig at variere taktikken lidt mere. Hurtige, tekniske fløjspillere med kridt på støvlerne kunne være måden at åbne mange af de centrerede, stærke forsvar man tit møder. Kommer fløjen først ned til hjørneflaget og får smidt et godt indlæg til en af vore meget kompetente (og forhåbentlig velplacerede) angribere i boxen, så kan en eksempelvis polsk forsvarsspiller stå og være nok så guddommelig til at tackle og sprinte og ellers bare se på at bolden heades i mål. Med en sådan taktik er kravet til teknik hos angriberne lidt mindre end ved et frontalt angreb. Til gengæld sætter det høje krav til fløjene. I sidste ende vil min foretrukne taktik selvfølgelig afhænge af det spillermateriale der er til rådighed, samt naturligvis modstanderen.
Jeg optager gerne hjælpere i inderkredsen. Sparringspartnere/spioner til analyse af modstanderen (en diskussionsgruppe?), samt spejdere på udkig efter danske stjerner der er gået under jorden i udlandet er specielt velkomne. Specielt hvad angår analysen synes jeg klart det vil være en fordel at have flere sæt øjne og meninger. Jeg håber desuden thystrup & Co. vil fortsætte deres gode arbejde med databasen.
Hvad angår informationsniveau ser jeg det som en nødvendighed at det er højt, hvis ellers man skal have en chance for at fange interessen hos de managere, der ikke lige selv har en spiller på landsholdet. Jeg vil i hvert fald bestræbe mig på at gøre noget ud af især evalueringsdelen – hvad gik galt, hvad gik knap så galt, Man of the match/ Fool of the match osv. ;), samt forsøge at lave et fængende kampoplæg uden at afsløre for meget overfor modstanderen.

about DEFENSE
as you can see the 4 are in line when the ball is in the opponent midfield area
when the action is in our midfield area it starts a sort of pressing made by the nearest defender with the help of the defensive midfield, while the 3 defenders behind do a tight line of 3 (with offside trap the 4 defenders go at the same time, but it's important they have the same skill PACE to avoid offside-trap not work)
With the action coming near our box the defenders exchange their position to be able always to takle the forward who should have passed the first one (so RB swap with rightDC - rightDC with leftDC - LB with left DC) [DC=Central Defender, RB-LB=right&left back]
on defensive corner kicks---->MID will stay in the area helping the 4 defenders while the 3 forwards stay on the mid-line, on in the center (with technique) the other two stay wide (the nearest to the corner with technique and the other one the quicker of the 3)...all this for counter-attack :)
about MIDFIELD
play with 3 Mid needs a lot of Pace to stay always on the ball
the central-MID goes from left to right, operating in front of the 4 defenders so he needs much more Defense and Pace of the other 2 (but also Passing and Play...cause he would be the one with more ball possession)
the Right-Left MIDs stay always at the same distance between them and he help themselves from right to left trying to stop opponent defensive midfield and restart on the flank as winger
They need much more PLAYMAKING and TECHNIQUE than the central cause they would find always defensive line opposition and defensive midfielder near them so they should be able to pass quick&good the ball in direction of the forward
They do also a great work on throw-ins and corner-kick (defensive & offensive)

mainly I love to cross them to find spaces between the enemy lines and to take advantage of defenders mistakes due to lack of technique.
But the discussion about forwards movement is really too complex...it's faster to view than to say :)

Why you're using a 4 man-defenceline for example?
a compact 4 man-defenceline is the best way to defend according to me, mainly when you play against surprising NT or club (with managers that loves to change their forward line from 3 to 2 and viceversa)
I also use 3 man-defenceline (but with 2 defensive midfielder) when I'm pretty sure of few things:
-opponent is not stronger than me
-opponent won't play with more than 2 forwards
-opponent won't be really dangerous on the flanks
in that cases i could decide to play 3-2-3-2 or a preferred 3-3-3-1 (but these are just numbers...we konw that tactics are much more complex to realize) :)

hvem har i som farvorit til posten som landstræner jeg har stemt på killer fordi jeg ved at han vil sætte sig godt ind i hver modstander der måtte kommer ud fra det sætte holdet op så jeg siger stem på KILLER.

Du spiller jo meget offensivt med dit klubhold. Vil du overføre det til landsholdet, eller vil du lave ny(e) taktik(ker), som er mere forsvarsbetonet? I så fald hvilke og hvordan?
