Cymru 1 - Danmark 2
“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Cymru Arena, where today the sun was hitting harder than a straight red card… except there weren’t any reds on the pitch: fair play all around, almost like a charity friendly!”
Wales started with courage, but Denmark looked like a war machine: in the 22nd minute Ørnholt rose above everyone and headed it in for 0–1. Symonds in goal was flying like Superman… shame today his kryptonite was Danish lobs.
In the 51st, Faaborg launched a rocket: 0–2, and it looked over. But wait! In the 61st minute, Hames lit up the stadium with a screamer, and the 43,000 Welsh fans woke up like they’d just found a free pint at the pub.
The final minutes had it all: Welsh pressure, offside traps everywhere, and the keeper finally remembering how to catch a ball. But Denmark held on and bagged the win: 1–2, three points locked away like a Copenhagen diamond.
Two shots versus eighteen… for Cymru this was less of a match and more of a crash course in survival. But credit where it’s due: they made the Vikings sweat until the very end.
Despite the defeat, the qualification race is still open: we’re still in the fight and anything can happen in the upcoming matches. We just need to be more clinical up front, but the spirit we showed today is encouraging.
As for me, I want to be clear: my mandate will end at the close of this season, regardless of the final outcome. Even if we manage to qualify, this will be my last run on the bench.
So, let’s enjoy this adventure to the fullest, match by match, with the hope of reaching the World Cup… and maybe passing the torch with a smile!

Facing the French “roosters” was never going to be a walk in the park… and after just 2 minutes we were already behind. Nightmare start: Poulain scores and our keeper Greve has to fly all over the place to keep us in the game.
But we Danes don’t give up easily, and in the 27th minute Ørnholt pulls a missile out of his hat that smashes into the French net: 1-1 and hope is alive again!
The first half ends in balance, with us even close to taking the lead (Thomsen’s rocket + Chardon’s miracle save). The French looked a bit surprised to find Danes ready to fight tooth and nail.
Second half though, the story changes: in the 49th minute Poulain (again!) shows his killer instinct and makes it 1-2. We hit the crossbar with Ørnholt , but in the 75th minute Poulain strikes again and seals the deal: 1-3, and the French can start singing victory songs.
Credit to our boys though: they fought till the very end, creating chances and forcing Chardon into full Superman mode between the posts.
Our hopes of qualifying are now hanging by a thread, but the shirt will always be honored. And the future is already in sight: thanks to adaca, a new coach has been found, who will inherit a team that never gives up.
Next stop: Cuba. If we win, we’re still in the race. If we lose… we’re mathematically out of the World Cup. It ain’t over ‘til it’s over – come on lads, let’s give it everything!

I received the communication from adaca in the midst of the qualification race, with the games still open. For this reason, I have decided that even if we qualify, I will not continue my mandate.
I found the gesture inelegant; it could have waited until we were mathematically eliminated.
But no problem, we will continue to the end, giving our all.
I have already found support for my candidacy in another excellent national team.

Yes that was a fault, i regret that, i should have taken it more delicate. I Send you the message while i Was Manic which im also adminitted to mental hospital for now, i was clearly too fast out and should have taken the conversation with you after results of the wcq

I think adaca should have taken it with everyone in DK. It's a very unfortunate way of proceeding.

Of course i dont decide alone... But who else ran for nt or found new coaches like last 40 seasons.... Its nice to say im not dictator when the fact is, nobody else ever lift a finger
Thank you so much, Neller. I did my best. I don't have much experience with the national teams, but I put a lot of effort into it. With the club, however, I'm getting a lot of satisfaction, and I think I'll reach the Italian second division, with many of the boys from my youth soccer school. A great result.
