I am so happy Sweden won!!!! The players did what they were meant to do. the only bad thing was the unlucky finishing and good play from their Gk. 18 shots and only 4 goals. And i liked Ljung's performance today. Good that the excessive offs-ide trap and high wingeback strategy went well. no major mistakes, except 1... when Appelqvist made a header in our box to the nigerian strikers. I also was a bit nervous when i saw their 3 players very close to our central defender.


I really want to hear your opinion and your analyze about this game. Everything worked fine except the unlucky finishing....

Nice win but there is two things that really annoy me.

1. The defenders inability to pass the ball to teammates and clear it up the pitch instead of out and give away a throw-in. Nothing a new tactic can solve unfortunately.

2. I hate when the players pass the ball back to the defenders or the gk. By far the worst thing about this ME.

Oh well, I did enjoy watching my player Albin Rickardsson today. He looked good out there. He went up one level in passing and that really paid off :D

when i started to read i thoguht smthng will annoy from my tactic. well Fredholm played a bit stupidly... Sjoblom was very good in defence.

Any remarks about the tactic?

Players was awesome, did all the job. Tactic was OK at max, could have been better but for a beginner you did good. ;)

beginner? ^^ i have more exp at NT level in general than you mate :) i haven't been a NT coach only in sokker. (9 seasons in GS, 5 in FA, 1PRO, 2 TM, 2 DO)


thanks for the good words, good that you liked this experimental tactic ( the experiment was to play the defenders so high that in offesnive part they should become sem-mids and rebound the ball easely)
