I just do not want to ruin your forum guys, so i wont write on your tactic -discussion topic but here> i saw you were posting smthng about Czech win in World cup lately, so i must say that with my own exp the new ME likes the mids positioned : 2 dms 1 CM, the passing and "creation process" is quite fast also effective... example : Russia- Bosnia even with a sent-off Dm , remaini with 1 lateral DM and 1 Cm managed to maintaing competition in the midfield.

Taktiken inställd efter diskussionen i landslagstråden, vi får analysera matchen efteråt...

Great win. Even thouhg t Malaysia used a tactic to anihilate the attacking moves, i am sure the tactic was good, and Sweden won due to nice positioning and good players. Congrats Cambrant.


EDIT: and a 77 rating o_O with such a rating SWEDEN IS MUST BE PARTICIPANT OF WORLD CUP!

First, thx for the congratulations.

And regarding the rating and that Sweden must participate in the world cup... ratings isn´t everything, look at our keeper rating last week against Ireland, our keeper wasn´t better then Irelands who saved several one to one and he got lower raitng then our keeper that let in more goals.

There is also a big problem with our ranking causing us big problems... as uou might know we have to get further down to be able to get easier qualification groups.
As it is now we will always have 2 better teams in the same group wich means that it´s harder to qualify. Last qualification we had 2 higher ranked teams and we struggled and ended up with the same pioints in the end but the goaldifferent wasn´t good enough for us to qualify.

This is the main reason why we are qualifying, we have to reach better rankings or we must have luck in the draw to get the easiets higher ranked teams.

i know that stuff, Russia has the same problem (in rating), but in Sweden's case you have a bigger variety of players, plus bigger variety of coaches to choose from to take the lead of NT. Reading the message i see that you still think i want somehow to challange you, attack, offend,etc... I don't have that in mind. I said few words about ratings cause most NT's at World Cup have same rating, ofc the main problem is the ranking, but beating a slightly better opponent with a higher rating is needed, thus to be proven that the qualification is deserved. Atm Sweden has great striking power, good midfield, solid defence, and ofc no problems with Gk, the only main issue will be the 2 opponents you will get in the qualification process. I hope you will get easier ones, with not the best coach so you can dominate more...

SO take the "free time" you have before the qualification start and try to find few tactics that will make swedish players to adapt fast. SO good luck mate!
