Little reading for you:

Enjoy!

Hello, Coach. First of all, tell us a few words about you.

Din0: Hi! I´m 22 years old and I´m living in Prague. I have been playing Sokker for 6 years and its quite long time to find some motivation so I became U21 coach. :)

Dobby: Hello! My name is Diego and I am 20 years old student from Argentina. I play Sokker since age 13.

Spanb: I have played Sokker for 6 years and this is the second period I'm the coach for U21 Sweden. Last time I didn't manage to qualify to U21 WC so have already made it better this time, despite this generation is weaker than previous ones I think. My biggest achievements so far in the game are a few gold medals in the national league. I'm very dedicated to this game, so it's great to be a part of a big tournament like this.

Marts: Hello-hello! I am Marts from Estonia and addicted to Sokker since 2007... ;P

Can you tell us your 3 most important players and a brief description of them?

Din0: Its hard to choose only 3 most important players. We have plenty of good players, but I´ll choose Vladimír Kretek (good midfield player with good ideas), Tibor Rožboud (only 20y old player but has the quality) and Řehoř Vrtocha (great striker, we can rely on him).

Dobby: I can not tell you much about the players because we are competing in the same World Cup Group, but what I can tell you, is that we have a short team - look at the amount of players there - if some of them gets injured, I loose much...

Spanb: Kent Rausmark - good goalkeeper is always important to have. He is probably not better than other teams first keepers, but since that my team will have to rely on defence he will be a key player.

Eli Ahlm - our best defender by far. In my opinion he has most skills that I expect from a great U21 defender. He played almost every match in the qualification phase, when he was a year younger than the other defenders, and he will have a key role.

Lorentz Hummerschiöld - hird player was difficult to choose, but a good striker is always needed. Lorentz is the best one in my team in my opinion. He doesn't have all the skills I want from a U21 striker, but some of them and I hope that it will be enough for him.

Marts: Eints Seiler is the soul/hart of our defense. He has already 18 caps and is also our team`s captain. From midfield I will pick our 19yo little future star Jüri Uusberg and from the front line Janno Soolo , who is our best striker at the moment.

What about your opponents, how would you describe each of the teams you'll play with? How do you think the group will look like after all 3 matches will be played?

Din0: I think that we have really unpredictable group and winner will be surprise for me. ;) All the teams are almost equal...

Dobby: Still I did not get to see them closely, but I notice that it is very even. Perhaps the weaker team is Sweden, but certainly any of the four teams qualify to play-offs. Poland has won only one World Cup Under-21 so far, if I remember correctly, so anything can happen. Still, I hope that Argentina qualifies. I think it there be many close games, and there will be several draws. I do not think any of the 4 teams will win all 3 games.

Spanb: Česká Republika: Definitely the best team in the group I think. Seems to have very strong strikers and midfielders, which will make it difficult to defend against them. By far the favorite to win the group.

Argentina: Also a strong team. Their biggest strength seems to be an evenly distributed team-with no weak positions. That can lead them to a top 2 spot and possible even longer in the play off stage.

Eesti: A strong team, especially in the defense from it seems. It will for sure be difficult to score against this team. A probable qualifier, even if the group is quite hard.

1. Česká republika
2. Eesti
3. Argentina
4. Sverige

Marts: My last friendly games have been a big disappointment for me, so a place in the top 2 would be a great success. My opponents are worth their spots in the U21 WC Finals and I am more than sure, that there wont be any easy games. Although, I will give my best to qualify to the play-offs. How the group will look like after 3 rounds? Well, hard to say... Everything can happen here imo. Still, I think that those two nations will qualify to play-offs, who make the best performances in those 3 rounds. Will Estonia be part of them? Only time will show, but hopefully yes...

What's your objective for this World Cup?

Din0: My goal is to qualify from our group.

Dobby: Argentina has a problem - it could never reach the quarter-finals of a FIFA U-21, so my desire is to reach the quarter-finals. Although we have a great team, that is very difficult, but we must never lose confidence.

Spanb: Our goal is already fulfilled: to qualify to the World Cup, the second time our U21 did that. The opponents are really hard, considering that they all have a lot better teams, so the chances to qualify from the group are small. Of course I will try to find a way to beat the opponents, but I don't expect much from my team.

Marts: Place in the TOP 16, otherwise I am failed as a Eesti U21 head coach. Everything else would be a bonus.

Which teams will play the final, in your opinion?

Din0: Italy and Romania, because I think they are best teams in Sokker now...

Dobby: Italy and Romania. I like Italy very much, because they always fight for the title and have an great organization to track players incredibly well. Not coincidentally, has won two World Under-21 titles too.

Spanb: It seems that Polska and Romania have the strongest teams, so its most likely that they will play in the final. There are a lot of teams, who wants to beat them, so I don't think the road to the final will be easy for them though.

Marts: Those two teams, who win their opponents in the semi-finals. ;) Who will they be? Hard to say atm...

Which team made the biggest surprise by qualifying to this edition of World Cup and why?

Din0: Ireland - was in a tough group, but qualified to the next stage.
Dobby: I have no idea, Argentina? : P Actually not, because all teams are getting stronger season by season, so I can not speak of "surprise". It also depends on the players you have each season and they are not always as good as we would like them to be.

Spanb: I would say Ireland. A small Sokker country without that much users. They qualified from what it seems a very hard group and they even managed to beat the powerhouse Italy in one game.

Marts: So Ireland it is. :D

Who do you think it will be the 'dark horse' of this edition?

Din0: Dark horse will be England, because they have great players in this season. ;)

Dobby: I think Poland. Always one of the best teams but has not won a U21 World Cup for years.

Spanb: Perhaps Česká Republika? They aren't among the top ranked teams, but it seems that they have a solid team, that can make it difficult for many of the top teams.

Marts: Hopefully me. :D

Finally, a word for your fans and sokker international community?

Din0: Its only a game, so have fun while playing it! :)

Dobby: I have no fans. ;P

But anyway, I think Sokker is falling apart. Seven years ago had basically the same game and has no basis. There were many contradictions to last season, when the new game engine, what we all had been waiting for, was created. It was rather a disappointment. The design does not change and there is no innovation. Changes are like ornaments / things without much importance... The truth is - improving game is good, but not major changes, what are not thought through good enough. It seems, that Sokker has no bright future...

Spanb: Although I don't expect that much from the tournament I hope that my team can give good opposition against the strong teams in the group. Not very much points to advancement from the group stage but of course I hope that my team can bring some surprises in the tournament. We have nothing to lose.

Marts: Dont be so negative, but simply enjoy your lives as much as possible.

Thanks.

Little bit annoying to lose a 3-1 leading in 2 minutes, but still a nice result for us.
