this week we will not play the qualifications for the WC but only a friendly against Kenya.

We will play the match only with U20 players even if I think that our opponent will play with a mix of 20 and 21 yo players: this is an important test for the next season.

I'm not interested in the result of this match even if I prefer to win.

MATCH LIVE

Good test concluded with a victory. I have seen good movements and a good match. There is something to change in our defence but at the end I am very happy of our players.
I ask you to train your 20yo players in stamina the next week 15 and 0. They are very low in stamina and this is very problematic when I have to choose the players to play the match.

Next week we will be against New Zealand, penultimate match of WCQ.

And finally we are qualified!! I think we played well this match even if we scored only 2 goals (we deserved to score at least other 4 goals).Their defensive line with 5 elements a little bit surprised me, but it doesn't matter, we were interested only to win the match and this occured.

Now we have 6 points more than Venezuela with only one match to play: so we are matemathically qualified to the next WC!! The last match is only a formality, I think we will play with U20 players to improve thier experience.

I'm very proud to lead Sweden U21 team to play the World Cup! We are among the best 32 teams in Sokker and for 3 editions Sweden U21 have not taken part to a WC.

Now it is time to celebrate this result!!

After the mathematical qualification to the next WC the previous week, the current week we will play the last match of WCQ against Venezuela.

As anticipated the previous week, because we are free from any pressure we will play the match with all U20 players irrispective of the choices of the opponent manager.

MATCH LIVE

The difference between the two teams was very high as I suspected yesterday. But in any case I am happy of our match: we were winning for 65 minutes and we have created some good occasions against a good team. But during the last part of the match our players were very tired because of the low stamina and at the end Venezuela won the match.

I hope you will train stamina during the season change and our midfielders improve their form. If this two events occur we can play a good WC!

Because the WCQ matches are finished, next week we will start to play our friendly matches with U20 players. Next week we will play against Romania, the first team in the ranking: we will try to do our best even if the difference between the two teams is very high, but no problem we can play a good match I think :)

the qualifications are finished and this week we start to play a series of friendly before the next WC.

This week we will play against Romania: they are the first in Sokker ranking at the moment and at the same time they are the incumbent Wold Champions.

In my opinion there is no story between the two teams but I have accepted this friendly in order to play with a very strong team and see how our player will play: I'm not interested in the result of this match at all.

Anyway, continue to train your players! It is very important for your U21 team.

Sverige vs Romania 1-2



MATCH LIVE


Wow! Fantastic result for us against the first of the class! I expected not to do a shot instead we have also scored a goal only after 9 minutes! I am very happy :)
The tactic was goodl and this demonstrate that if our players have more stamina and form we can fight and win against all teams here in sokker. Despite the stats I think we have created a good numebers of occasions and only in the final part of the match we have started to decrease our performance due to our low form and stamina.

Anyway I am very happy and now we go on with our series of friendlies.

Next week we are against Jamaica. It will not be a very easy match but we hope that our players will increase thier form.
