Sverige vs Österreich 2:2

Our today`s game against Österreich was a balanced one. Both sides provided quality chances, but it all ended in a draw. I have tried some new players as:

* Torbjörn Skoog (GK);
* Egil Holmåker (MID) &
* David Bonnier (MID)

Next week, first U27 game against Bulgaria in Euro U27 Championship. New fellows shall appear in the first line-up.

Euro U27 Group Stage | 8th of July | Bulgaria Arena

Bulgaria vs Sverige 5-0

The Euro U27 competition had the start yesterday. I had too much confidence in our lads and played high def. It cost us a lot, didn`t go as planned and Bulgaria punished us big time. Next game against Germany we need more precaution and inspiration. We suffer big in the mid line, not that many solutions.

Euro U27 Group Stage | 15th of July | Friends Arena Sverige

Sverige vs Germany 2-0

There is a nice quote that says that we should learn from our mistakes. I can say we did that today after the disappointment against Bulgaria where I thought that playing offensive against a much superior opponent could be the way.

Today we blocked the German strikes totally, 95% percent of their shoots came from long range. Last game of the group brings us Austria, once more, after our 2-2 draw from a couple of games ago.

Euro U27 Elimination Stage | 29th of July | France Arena

France vs Sverige 2-0

In this 1/16 finals match against France my thoughts went to strong defending and counter-attack playing. Defensive line reacted good, two def errors gave France the win, we missed a penalty at 1-0 for them. Maybe we could have done more, who knows. Next edition probably will be better.

Never mind Clau, good job anyway.. France is very strong opponent and you did your best, with better luck you could win. Grats to your result in this competition and GL to your next matches

Thanks mike. I appreciate games against stronger opponents. If we had a better mid line probably we could have earned more.

Euro U27 Championship 9-16 Place | Česká republika Arena

Czech Republic vs Sverige 3-0

This season`s U27 Championship has been quite a tough nut for us. As it was this week`s opponent, Czech Republic. The few options the mid line offers did not provide much strength to the game. We defended of, but did not create much scoring chances.

For the 13-16 place we will play Switzerland.

Hi guys!

Old season has ended and a new season is due to start.
This season we played friendly games, a total of 14 games, 5 of them in U27 style.

Statistics:

- 14 games, 7 won, 2 drawn, 5 lost
- 34 goals scored, 28 received(32-33 if we take the official result in the match against Austria).

I have tried playing different types of tactics, defensive and offensive. It`s all on the opponent we play against.

Next season is World Cup campaign in the box. I would really enjoy having the chance to drive the team to this cup. Hope you will offer me this opportunity.

These days I have limited access to sk as I am on holiday with my family.

Anyway, today we have beaten Switzerland with 6-3, we even had 6-0, but we have fallen down in the last 20 minutes. Nevertheless, a very good preparation game intro the U27 Euro.

The group for the WC has been drawn:
- Czech Republic, Canada, Bolivia, Luxemburg and Nicaragua.
