Subject: [U21] Fernando Mattos

Hello community

My name is Fernando Mattos and I am a candidate for coach of team U21 of Eesti. I am Brazilian and complete 38 years next Monday. I work as a teacher of Physical Education. I am married, but do not have children. I have two beagles that make the joy of my house. I am passionate about soccer and practice at least twice a week in an amateur way.

Sokker

I started playing Sokker in 2010 and what makes me play until today is the opportunity to create every detail of how my team will move around the field.

Club

My team AD Fazenda do Campo, is the current champion of Serie A and Brazil Cup. It is not only the youngest team to win in my country but also the youngest to be promoted to Serie A. Any other champion team is at least 3 years older than mine.

Selections

I started in Mexico U21 in 2015-09-03 and I commanded the team for three seasons. I was also coach of Mexico NT for a season of only friendly and Brazil NT playing for three seasons, disputing two World Cup and one eliminatory for World Cup. I consider my work in Brazil NT just reasonable. My great job with selections was in Mexico U21.

México U21

The U21 Mexico team had qualified for the World Cup for the last time in 2010. My goal was to qualify México U21 for the World Cup in 2015. The first season was just friendly. The planning was to give extra training to the U20 players and ascend in the ranking of selections.

Mexico reached 32nd place in the rankings (up 10 places), but did not get lucky in the draw and faced Bosnia and England.

Mexico won twice to England and qualified.

Mexico made a World Cup above their expectations. It was eliminated by Switzerland in the second round.

Eesti U21

Let's talk about today.

Eesti U21 is a strong team with the ability to play the leading role in the World Cup. This is my goal.

Planning and classifying the team for World Cup, use the friendly to prepare the team U20, meet as many players as possible and interact with the community in the forum.

Election

My good point is the great effort and dedication to achieve the goals and have the best team possible within the field.

My negative point is the language. I just understand basic English. I am not here to deceive you.

Are you prepared for giving us detailed analyzes of each match with no feedback? :P

You talk about which matches?

I will comment every Eesti u21 match in the forum if it is the answer you expect.

What Arpeau means is that you need to consider if you are ready to analyze and give feedback on the already ended and the next upcoming match, all season long - even when you get no feedback whatsoever from the community?
Because if you get elected, you might feel very alone and forsaken at times when you get not even a single comment or feedback (not good, not bad - just nothing) from the community.
Of course, that doesnt mean people wont follow the games and expect results from you.

I've been through this in Mexico. Some people will read the forum but will not comment. This is not ideal, but it is a reality in most countries, including Brazil. I will probably be the most active user in this forum. Every game of Eesti U21 will have attention in this forum.

What do you think about it? For sure, it isn't that hard, but I'd like to know about your thoughts.

England and Venezuela are competitive teams, sure to have a selection like Venezuela that came from pot 3 and played the last Cup is not good. The other teams should not fight for the classification, but you must respect not to be surprised. Eesti is the great team of the group, the selection that everyone will fear.
