Week00 Friendly - Hrvatska U20
I chose competitive opponents to test our team against other great opponents.
The U20 team will play these friendly matches for:
1) Receive extra training.
2) Increasing experience and consequently discipline tactics.
3) Saving the U21 injuries and not defalcate the team in WCQ.
4) Test the World Cup team.
In week 00 we will use the U20 team (currently U19) to avoid injuries in the World Cup team. If Eesti qualify for the World Cup and I continue coaching we will save the team's World Cup in the following weeks too.

Starting the subject ahead of time on account of Christmas!
We will play against Germany next Friday, it will be a friendly match U20, where we will test our team that will play the World Cup (if our team qualifies).
I have a concern and I want to share with everyone. Our MIDs have very low level of stamina. They need a stamina training at the end of the season. Can you help me?

In addition we have many MID-DEF and few MID-offensive. Some players can be trained to play more offensively. How do you receive these requests here in Estonia? It bothers the players owners?
This attacker also worries me. The owner has not updated. His stamina yet 1 in the last update.
Karol Mõistus
Eesti has a good U20 team, but needs some adaptations to get even stronger. What are the chances of me getting help from the players' owners? Do you know these owners? I really need the most active users to answer those questions.
PS: I already made the request to the owner of Rolf Ehala.

I'm in doubt about the tactics. I have three different paths to choose from.
1) Choose a tactic appropriate to the opponent.
2) Test an appropriate tactic the characteristics of our players.
3) Test our U20 team in the tactics we have already used with the U21 team.
Everyone can give their opinion.
When everything is ready, I'll let everyone know.

Unfortunately due to low stamina of some players I will replace players by necessity and not by my choice.

We do not play well. Reasons:
1) Our attackers were far too advanced.
The opponent played with the defense back in the last two matches, I tried to align our attackers, but the opposing coach changed the line of defense.
2) One player received a red card.
An expelled player is a considerable loss, but we have made the defense recomposition correctly and avoided the worst.
3) We did not have a great performance from our attackers.
Our goalkeeper was the best player on the field.
Our defense has alternated between good and bad moments.
Our midfield started poorly and improved in the second half.
But our attack today disappointed me. I hoped they would win more individual duels and mostly choose better decisions. Unfortunately this game has these things. Ain Lossmann had several opportunities to run alone with the ball, but he preferred to pass back, he played as if he was with MID. Certainly we would have created some great opportunities to score a goal.

Analyzing the situations of the match I am happy not to be defeated.
But I'm unhappy with our performance.
But I'm unhappy with our performance.
Patience, patience. The next season Valdur Viira begins to demolish :)
He is a great player. I'm sure he will be very successful in the selection.
Let's play on Friday our second friendly. The opponent will be Belgium, an excellent test for our U20 team.
Our U20 team is very good, but I have a concern.
We do not have midfielders with offensive characteristics yet (so I hope) and this disrupts our game a lot, because we err greatly in offensive moves, many wrong passes, slowness in the decision of the players and lack of dribbling. These mistakes also hurt our defensive sector,
because we are attacked for a longer time.
My intention in these friendly matches is to create alternative options and test our players for each tactical alternative. If at the end of the season I do not find offensive solutions, I'll need to adapt a more defensive style on our team.

We won! Ufa! It was a great match!
We did a good first half, we defend well and we managed to get Belgium involved a few times.
The goal came from a frontal foul, headed by Valdur Viira, ball at the post,
and in the rebound Ain Lossmann dispute with the defender. The defender does the own goal.
In the second half Belgium improved their game and created several moves on the left side, but our defense was well and the goalkeeper saved when it was necessary. Our team continued to attack well, had opportunities to make the second goal.
At the end ... A great goal by Ain Lossmann, dribble in the defender and strong shot.
It was a pleasure victory!! I had a lot of fun watching our game today.
PS: We still have not conceded goals.

Our U20 team will face Spain next Friday.
Spain uses a rather offensive tactic, with players approaching. It will be interesting to play against this team.
I will try to create a tactic to overcome the adversary.
Our team U20 is not yet at its best level, but has already shown some evolution. This game will be a good test for our boys.
