Eesti U21 - Scotland U21

Commenting on the game against Scotland,
I preferred to use players with the slightly lower form,but with more appropriate skills this time around.
The staff did not make a great start, but fulfilled with the minimum expected, a solid defense and a team looking for the goal.

This new generation faces the same problems, the midfielders, but this time the problem seems to be bigger. We do not have any players ready.

România U21 - Eesti U21

We got a win today against Romania, but I'm not proud.
I agreed to use 6 players of 19 years, but I forgot.
I just repeated the team last week, As explained, I was very busy.

I apologized to the coach of Romania and he understood.

Today we will have another great game, against a great opponent.

We're going to face Italy. A top world team that has a wide variety of players.


I have prepared a team not unlike the last games.

We did an excellent game today, but unfortunately our defense failed to stop the Italian striker who played on the right side and they managed to get a draw.

Eesti U21 - Indonesia U21

this Friday we drew with Indonesia. I was able to watch the game only today.

We made a match just reasonable, with some insecurity in defense, Missing many passes and making very few balls reach the attackers.

Still we were the best team in the field, we created enough situations to achieve a victory, including with more than one goal. Our attackers lost incredible chances, two of them with the goalkeeper out of the picture, we kicked the ball out. At 83 minutes and mainly at 86.

I was disappointed with the result, and I believe you have stayed too. I will try to observe and correct our mistakes.

Tomorrow we will face Belgium, a very strong selection. The game would be against the Netherlands, but the Netherlands scheduled a match with Cameroon.

Eesti U21 - België U21



Today we did an excellent game. Unfortunately we lost many goals and in the end we suffer for it.

Belgium has won more individual clashes, but it was not enough to stop Estonia.

Belgium kicked only 3 times, two of them on penalties and another distant kick. Estonia created several clear chances to score, we made enough passes and in my opinion a victory would be fair.

We beat Latvia today. I have not watched the game yet.

I just repeated the formation of the game against Belgium.

One negative fact was the 14-day injury from our main striker, Valdur Viira.
