Eesti U21 - Argentina

I watched the game only now.
The Argentine coach used a different tactic and hurt our game.

I expected a very centralized Argentine defense and a ward from the start. They expanded the defense sideways, used 5 defenders and hindered our offensive play. The Argentine attack was centralized and advanced, I did not expect. I left the defense behind to block the offensive plays of Argentina.

Luckily we did 2-0 fast.
Our defense behaved very well today, little mistakes and our goalkeeper was good when needed.
In my opinion we were much better in the side throw-in, and yes, that made a difference.

With the tactical changes our team has improved a lot, even against a defense of 5 defenders, created goal situations and dominated the actions at the end of the game.

Ain Lossmann scored two goals yesterday and completed 20 goals for Eesti U21. Congratulations!!!
And he's in solid form 8, he's really an extraordinary player.

Let's face the Czech Republic, they are the current champions, ranking leaders, and were silver two World Cups ago. They are really a very skilled opponent,
with excellent players, an experienced and competent coach.

We also have our qualities, owners of players very committed to the national team, which undoubtedly made a difference to good until this moment.
For this match we need a perfect match, and I'm going to work for it. I hope to succeed in the tactical part and that the players are on a big day.

Team ready. I still have some doubts about our tactics and about some players, but the team is practically defined.

I left an important player out on account of the form, but I think the substitute is qualified enough.

As I already said, the opponent is very Strong and we will have to be at our best. I'm confident we'll make history.

I could not, I'm sorry. I can not say it was unfair, but I was left with the feeling that we could win.

You don't have to apologise for anything! It was kinda even game if you look on chances. Their mid's were bit stronger as expected. And this unlucky penalty.

You were unlucky because it was a game in substantial balance decided by a penalty kick!

In any case, in my opinion, the goal achieved is a great result!

I wanted to watch the game one more time before commenting,
but I got home very late ... Maybe I forget some details.

The Czech defense is very strong, several players with high values, certainly PACE and DEFENDER very high. They gave little chance to our attackers.

We lost many individual clashes during the game and even then we did a decent game in my opinion ...
Advanced defense worked well, despite the two goals ... Speaking of the two goals, two balls at the feet of our defenders, is very sore. If I were to play again today, I would trade a MID for a wing in the second tactic and nothing else.

An injured player with 10 minutes also hampered us. Two MIDs did not have STAMINA to play 90 minutes ... One of them 80 minutes in this case.

We had a great opportunity to score in the 65th minute, at that moment another story might have been drawn :(

Tough opponent. Lossmann only scored 1 out of 2 chances with his good [7] form.

Very hard group for us. Brasil is favourite. England has very strong team too and Lietuva is as strong as we are. The goal is clear: 1st or 2nd place and play off. But it will be very hard. ;)
