I really want to change my training process to passing or technique


imo for a winger it's enough 15 on pm and it's really more important to have 18 on tech (hoping to win more duel vs lateral defs) and pass

today we won the second match of our European group, but I am not very satisfied how we are playing. We are not so competitive like with A-team cause we lack mids and strikers...but it will be not so simple to get us out from this tournament ;)

after the draw 0:0 against Deutschland, this Saturday we will face Turkey in 1/8 finals


we are almost at the end of the season and if I can be honest, I would like to propose my candidacy again for next season.
I only put one condition, if there is any Estonian user who has the desire and ability to lead its national team, in that case I will step aside. I'd just like to know before the election so I have time to look for another nt around the world. thanks

In my opinion you've done well. You have solid tactics which does not give much fun to look at, but it is effective in evolving in national rankings :). Hope to see you continue.

Turkey - Eesti 2:1

I struggle to accept this defeat but so it is. the match was really balanced but we found our winger more than our opponents and after our 1-0 and the 1vs1 wasted some minutes after, i was quite sure to bring a positive result.

two long balls launched over our defensive line in last 30' of the match and we lost ....this is sokker :(

unfortunately, last two weeks we had only one good striker and tactics were obliged



@nommilk you're right, not so spectacular ...but i lost first game in our qualification group so i had to think to result before the beauty. However, we played with several tactics, (43w2, 52winger2, 532, 53winger1 with low or high defensive line) but specially at world cup and at euro we lack mids and strikers at top level. So I adapted tactical choices to the players I had available from time to time

yesterday a bad defeat by 3-0 vs Azərbaycan. We faced them with no striker on high form (paala 12 tults 12) and we see how it works till 60'. Then i tried to change with a more aggressive tactic but our u27 def line is not so competitive to play high and we suffered two more goals

i'm disappointed mostly cause we lost 5 ranking position so now i have to pay attention cause it's important to finish in first 16 position

another defeat vs Slovensko :( this is for sure my worst ever end of season

unlucky we have great problems with our under27 and few competitves players (last two matches our best strikers with 11\13 form). Today we had a lot of chances to score but with this strikers' situation it's really difficult to be incisive. Next week last u27 match and finally we could come back to A team. I'm a little disappointed about our ranknig cause with last three matches i wasted all my work (even if it was important to be in first 16 at the draw for next WC qualification). We reached 8°position only few weeks ago :(

our greatest problem continue to be strikers. We have only 4\5 competitive players and often they are on low form. So, in this period we played with 12 or 13 form (the alternative means to play with 13\14 on pac\tec\str).

however, i don't want to find any excuses, i'm sure we can fight vs top team but maybe we will struggle more when we should try to impose our strenght

For sure, I'm not used to getting this kind of results and I can only promise that I will work hard to change the fate of the season. It's a very bad time but I won't give up. Sorry again

today we got the qualification for the next WC
I preferred to remain silent because after a draw and a defeat in firsts two matches, i had only to work hard.

this team can be competitive at all levels but we will need a bit of luck with form and injuries cause we have very few alternatives.

i'm a little worried about the future, cause some players starts to get old and younger are not at the same level

Defs are ok but we have not wingers (really, no one after roopold), two or three interesting mids and a couple of strikers.

maybe estonian community could think to organize better youngers training (promoting youth schools, training ecc ecc) otherwise next future will be not so good

Eesti - Norge 3:0 with this last win we get also 1st place in our group. Now i have to focus on ranking position, it'd be important to finish this season in firsts 16 positions hoping to find a good draw at next WC

It seems obvious that I need to be under pressure to perform at my best, even if maybe in my hearth i'd ve preferred a less stressing qualification

we know, sokker is not an exact science but we must go through, 1/8 is within our reach. Group is quite balanced, there are no top teams but also, there are no bad teams, all teams makes around 75\80%
