On Saturday, the second round of qualifying for the world championships. Our rival will be Slovenia. In the first round they won 6-0 against Georgia, but we are the favorites in this match. In the history SK, Estonia has played against Slovenia only 4 times

Estonia only victory

A little delay, last Saturday we won against Slovenia and important 3 points. A match without much emotion, but reality gave me more emotion when I was on holiday in Israel on Saturday. Fortunately, I am safe and can still be here with you. Tomorrow there is another match and competition with Senegal, which is not an easy opponent. The match will be difficult, but we are playing to win.

Half of the qualifications are behind us, we are on the right track to promotion. The last match of this round with Ecuador ends with the score 1-0. Many one-on-one situations with the goalkeeper were wasted, but fortunately we managed to score a long-range goal in the 85th minute of the match. After the first round we have all wins and one goal lost. This is good. Only victory for Estonia. Regards :)

The first test for the U20 is against Mexico on Saturday. 5 U20 players have already had a chance to play in the qualifiers, the rest have been or will be called up. The biggest problem is with the goalkeeper, but I wrote about it earlier. We have an 18-year-old goalkeeper (13) and a 19-year-old (11), I believe they will improve their skills quickly :)

Joonas needs 3 weeks for next pop.
Next week i get one 17y keeper (lvl 10-11) from YS and there is hope for one good-one in 33 week :P

Thank you for the information, he is the number 1 goalkeeper, I have great hope in him. So that there will be no injuries and the drawing of the young gk will be successful :)

I have a highly talented keeper. Decided to train him from poor GK because of his height. Doubt if he will be of use for U21, but looking at the development even might :)

I would say the change of the training system affected GK trainers the most. Now it's not profitable any more to focus on training young GKs to keeper skill 18 and sell. The prices are very low. This means youg GKs will not be sold to GK trainers and the latter are not interested in having 2 GK positions in advanced training. So in general the level of GKs declines.

That's right, there is a big problem with this. It is possible that adding one more skill could change the situation, e.g. catching the ball. Maybe then goalkeepers would gain in value. But I doubt there will be such changes :)

3 matches before the end of the qualifications we already know that Estonia will play in the championship. There is a chance for first place and first basket before the group draw. We currently have space in pot 1. Next week there will be a very difficult match against Senegal and the priority is to keep the distance over the Czech team. The last match against the Czech Republic will be played by U20 players after agreement with Germanek

this game is stupid:p, it can raise your blood pressure, the previous qualifiers were 0-0 against El Salvador and now 0-0 against Slovenia. I am disappointed, I have no words for these wasted situations. The last match next week for first place in the group against the Czech Republic.
