MacGyver would probably win the world championship:P

My dream is to advance from the group at the world championships and get closer to 14th place in the ranking. Very hard work but I believe that Estonia can do it. Today, after sorting, we have the preliminary squad for next season. There are 27 players, including 3 goalkeepers without the U20 generation (currently level 14, 12, 11), the number of players may increase because I still have a few candidates in my observations. This season we had 5 U20 players in our permanent squad, currently this is half of the squad, so we can look positively at the future qualifiers.

I am glad that my work with Estonian players brings results, I have been working only with them from the beginning and I have a lot of them in my team who have the appropriate level to play in the national team.

I have heard about allegations that national team coaches promote their players in the national team for the benefit of the club. If someone may have such thoughts and I understand it because there were many such situations on sk, I can always send the skills privately to avoid misunderstandings :)

We already know who we will play against at the World Championships.

1. Türkiye U21 Ranking place. 3
2. Magyarország U21. place. 11
3. Eesti U21 place 29
4. Argentina U21 place 19

I believe we can get some points. A very difficult group.
We have the worst squad of these 4 national teams, but as long as the Sokker engine is in the game, anything is possible:)

A draw against magyarzosg and a win against argentina will be superb.

I think so too, today it's a 1-1 draw with Norway. A match of wasted opportunities. 2 empty-net situations without a goal and a wasted penalty kick. After the first situation in the 3rd minute, when our shooter missed the empty goal, I knew that the Sokker engine would not be on our side. 2 injuries, luckily it's a friendly match and the level of the goalkeeper and his speed is worrying. A goal is conceded because the goalkeeper is too slow in getting to the ball. For comparison, most national teams have a goalkeeper of level 16-17 (Norway 17) and unfortunately our goalkeeper is level 14 without speed. You can not have everything.

This Saturday, Estonia will play against Belgium, a very strong team, I think it is a candidate that will play for medals at the championships. They won their last match against Brazil and I think they plan to win on Saturday as well. This period is a real test for Estonia, there will be no weak rivals and any result without defeat will be a success. I hope that we will avoid injuries because it is a big problem with a limited squad. At the moment, one important player is injured and will miss training this week.


I would like to remind you that the elections for the national team coach are underway, I know that there are no candidates, but I think that me and T. Nommik will be in our place this season, but the turnout really motivates us to continue working and shows that the Estonian community is not indifferent to its national team :D

Unfortunately, we lost badly 1 :3. The level of our defenders is lower and it is difficult to pass the ball. The ball was kicked out, compared to Argentina, their defense skillfully moved the ball and there was another attack. We lose the first goal due to poor positioning of the defender, the second goal is a free goalkeeper who did not manage to get to the ball and the third goal, the goalkeeper does not catch the ball in the air and the shooter shoots with a header. Argentina exposes our problems, goalkeeper and defensive line. Today I couldn't use a better defender because he had a slight injury, I didn't want to take any risks. A very unlucky match,We lose to Türkiye 0:1, the tactic worked. 2 minutes the best scorer gets injured but wants to play. He's been walking on the pitch for 2 minutes and he's gone. During the break, I replace the second scorer because his condition is poor, in the 77th minute the new scorer gets injured and leaves the field, I don't have another scorer on the bench and I play with 10 players. In the 83rd minute, a funny situation occurred, similar to the one in the match against Argentina. The ball flies high to the goalkeeper, the goalkeeper at 5 meters is waiting with the Turkish player when the ball falls and, of course, the goal is a header. It's pathetic that a goalkeeper would make such mistakes. I am very angry because Türkiye did not have a chance to win this match. Every match I have a problem with the goalkeeper, I think I will start training 10 goalkeepers so that this problem no longer occurs.
