Hm...I don't know how other 19yo forwards look, so it's hard to tell. If he really is a NT material, then why not giving you, the owner, a signal to train him harder, with a debut in NT? :)

Though, generally I think about playing one U19 game, if rival NT accepts it. I think it's good to make owners think more about future of their youngster. If they see he played in U19 then they have a clear signal - "Hey, my player played in NT. I think I should make up the training shedule under his skills, so he will play in senior NT!".

Hm...that's a good question. Next year there will be another U21 WC, and he'll be 20yo then - and if he's really that good comparing to others, he should be ready to play. Then - at least adequate stamina is needed to get him fit for about 45min. It depends whether you want to make him a forward, or an off mid? I would go for the striker, who can sometimes play near wing, or lower then the second forward - to pass the airborne passes from defs/mids with his head. For sure he needs better technique - but not too high, not to get injured too often. I think v. good - excellent should be max now. Then you should train his pace, and if you want to make him forward - his striker skill, to about...outstanding. If you want to make him an off mid, or even winger - then I would advice you to make his passing higher. :)

Why not! I'm going to have quite long holidays - from may till october, so I would think about that! I've never been to Eesti yet, and that would be a good occassion! :)

Treenin ta ikka MIDiks
2007-03-30 14:23:25
And you want to make him an off-mid, def-mid, winger or normal central mid?
2007-03-30 14:25:31
Off-MId of course...

Then you should train his technique[a little bit now] After that few levels of passing, about 1-2 in pace. After that you could try striker, as with excellent he won't score too much. After he gets that I would think about defence, as he can over be running after def mids and mids of opponent. The higher def = the higher possibility of tackling the ball, and the lower possiblity of getting a card.

What skills are most important for striker in your opinion and why?

Do you know about that page: http://www.vj.pri.ee/sokker
Do you intent to use that for proposing a players?
2007-03-30 15:18:34
It depends. IMO there are 3 types of forwards - fast, technicians, equal in pace and technique.

For sure in the new ME striker is a very important skill, much more than in previous engine.

I generally think, that even divine technician without pace isn't a good striker, so as divine pace without technique striker. My key to success is to get two strikers - ont with higher technique, but also high pace, and second one with higher pace than technique.

Also defence is very important, especially for fast forwards.
Passing and pm is also useful, in my last 2 games for 5 goals I scored 4 in same way - one forward gets through defs on the left/right side, and then he makes pass to center forward, who is clear, and has one on one with the empty goal, because GK is running the right/left forward. :)

But the most important skill is....form! A striker, and generally a player, without form is much worse than it looks like when you see his skills.

Hm...nope it's the first time I see this page, though it looks interesting.

It's a good way to propose players, so why not. You don't have to download anything etc, so it's easier. :)

Why players get injured?
:)
What is your favourite tactic?
2007-03-30 15:44:27
Why? Because they are lazy! ;)

Hm...the bigger difference between defence level of tackling player and technique level of dribbling player = bigger chance for getting injured.

I don't know what's with those passing injuries - maybe something connected with low technique?

Hm...favourite tactic. Hard one :)
I like to play with one high wing, and it was very effective in previous engine, but now...it's not.

I think best options to play are various combinations of 442. I like 4 defs, 1 close def mid[to prevent long shots] and then:

a)2 central mids and one high winger
b)3 central mids, with the one in center with more defensive work

Or classical 442, with 4 defs, 2 central mids with defensive orders and 2 wingers.

Or 4-3-1-2, with 4 defs, 1DM, 2 central, one off mid and 2 strikers.

It's sad, but you have my vote :)

Hm..thanks :)
But why sad? :)

What is between you and Norwichcitynil?:=)
2007-03-30 17:44:43
