actually as the high winger i think the ranking was:

Liitmaa > Kalmre > Maripuu

Maripuu really couldn't do much from there after he swapped places with Kalmre

I guess nobody really expected a score like this. So, nice job borkos.

Like many users before me said, the best players today were Kelder, Sai and Liitma. The one high wing tactic worked good (especially when Liitmaa was in the game). Our defense did a great job. Mexico practically didn't get any decent chances on our goal. Midfield played great too. Sai was the best ofcourse. And about the offense? Well, I guess that we don't have to say anything, because we all saw what Kelder did :P

He is one of the most creative players that I've ever 'coached'. ;)

Great win. I have used the same tactic many times before aswell and have worked pretty good.
Kelder was MoM, Island needs something like him. Especially he would have been great help for us today.

And Kelder - yeah...so many dribbles! 5/8...very fast...could've been even more if the ball after dribbles weren't going to the keepers hands. I also missed someone like him in Australia...

Btw - nice result against Scotland! With a chance to even score a goal at the end of the game.

Agree. For me the most important skill for a player on this position is technique, because he plays really high a most times defenders try to take the ball from hehind.
Soon our Sturlaugsson will be unstoppable.

Hopefully in future I will switch to striker training. I wanna see my striker to score a goal for their countries.

We had at least 3 chances. If have time to watch all 90 minutes, then you could see we really deserved a goal.

Ta ju pidevalt vahetab seda. Lauslollus oleks olnud minna ühe kaitsva äärega. Sa ilmselt ei vaadanud tervet mängu. Nö. tühijooksjast oli ka väga palju kasu.

It would be such an achievement to get a first draw against 1st Polish team...

Cause generally...other group games won't make too many emotions - maaaaybe against Osterreich...though now the most interesting group is Osterreich vs Mexico...a draw or loose of Mexico would be awesome...:)
