Subject: Makarska - sport bar

Hi guys!
I'm going to Makarska or somewhere near it this week.

Next week there's a Juve - Chelsea game and I just have to see it, any idea where can I watch the game? Any pub, restaurant etc?

you might find it in some bar, but I'm pretty sure you have much better chances of finding it in one of betting places (kladionica). people go there to bet, usually there are a couple of tvs + you can buy drinks so it pretty much looks like a bar with sports on television where you can bet :)

+ as it looks like it's the best game of that day in cl, it will probably be on hrt2 (croatian radio television), so you'll probably be able to watch it with, no problem

and if you end up watching it on some public place, and people start asking you about football and you end up being asked about dinamo zagreb, just say you are fan of hajduk and you don't care about dinamo ;)

nit ih dinamovci diraju, niti hajdukovci - boli ih uvo.

unfortunately for you game that will be on hrt 2 is Valencia-Bayern link so you`ll have to find some other way to watch it, sportsbar or betting place (acording to our slavic tourist guide neuro :))

if you have laptop you can find free wireless network in bars and watch pirate broadcasts

a ja sam siguran da ga nisam vodio juznije od sukosana...

to je stao popit pivo kad je išao spašavat onog poznatog crnogorskog plivača da vidi koliko ovaj može držat dah. ti vrabac si vjerojatno u to vrijeme ubio oko na plaži...

I have a wi-fi in the place that I'm having holidays, will check during the weekend if it's good enough for pirate broadcasting - if not then I will start searching for bars etc :)
