You can also travel by the coast or to reach some islands by boats and ferries.

is there any kind of "pass" for trains? something like interrail, but only local?

I really don't know that..

only pass I know is for travelers under 26 or 27 years

i was looking for something like paying XXXX and can use any train for 8 days

I've heard you can buy 8-days ticket for 90€, but I'm not sure. I recommend you send e-mail to putnicki.prijevoz@hznet.hr and ask them anything you want.

You can download Croatian Railways network map - as you can see (colors are not important), not so developed network along the coast

come to croatian zagorje and you will be drunk for 3 days :D

For now I have:

Arrive in Zadar 6 august. Stay 2 days.
Go for DubrovniK, 2 days (probably trying to visit some near border city in Bosnia. ideas?)

Back to middle Coast. Trying to go to Island of Pag (aquariusssss). 2 days

Going to Zagreb. 2 days.

Back do coast. Rijeka ou Pula?!?. (maybe trying do visit Eslovenia)

I must be in Trieste 16 August to catch the plane back.



Ok.. Any ideas or tips? Is this a good plan?

When You go back to the coast maybe it's better for you to go directly to Pula and not Rijeka..

what's more worth visiting? Rijeka or Pula?

Pula definitely (no ofense)

I'm from Pula, there is not so much to see in Rijeka, but Opatija iz like 20 min from Rijeka and is nice to see...

mislim da čovjeka više zanima gdje će se provesti, a ne šta će vidjeti..:))
