My name is Simón Sosa, I am 33 years old, I have been an active user in sokker since 2014, I was previously in the game in 2007 where I had my first team but I could not continue for personal reasons, at the moment I have been living in Colombia for 6 years. years. years and I am currently a Moderator of the Venezuelan community since 2017, always grateful for the opportunity and trust they gave me to perform my duties. I was in my beginnings as a tutor, a big part of my return was always seeking to contribute my knowledge to new users in their beginnings in the game and supporting the communities to grow and be more competitive (something I still do).

I have focused a lot on making the game more exciting for both new and old users, developing new competitive systems and unofficial tournaments such as the Asian Cup, African Cup, America's Cup, Gold Cup, Continental Cup and some Arcade tournaments so that people can stay active, in addition to supporting the creation of logos for national teams and all the plus teams that want to have an identity within the game.

My career as an International coach



In my beginnings, in addition to these, I was also able to coach some other countries, being the first coach when the Panama team was born, being something very important for me.

As you can see, most of the processes have been to help small communities in Central and South America, but each of them has left me with the personal knowledge of knowing how to take advantage of their advantages. strengths and improve their weaknesses.

I am a lover of the game at the selection level and, as I have written previously, I love being able to contribute experience in search of developing projects (although I have mostly done it in my geographical area) and that users can obtain the knowledge. about how to train players so that at some point they can bear fruit and reach the World Cup, which is always the focus. 

I have supported the Guatemalan national team in the last cycles (both senior and U21), training players with their sights set on qualifying for that community's first World Cup and it is something long-term that is expected to bear fruit at the moment.

I have had the opportunity to train in 2 Sokker World Cups, one with the Venezuelan team and another with the Uruguayan team and without a doubt the desire to compete and win is always present in me.

My objectives

It would be an honor for me to work with the Croatian community. I am completely clear about the weight that I have on my shoulders after the world championship obtained this season with the great work done by Trga and I want to be able to continue maintaining that level and exceed expectations. I have the winning attitude and the time necessary to dedicate myself to this great responsibility. I am a lover of demands and just as I have my feet on the ground when I know the limitations with some selections, I also have the firmness to be able to comply when the standards are higher, an extra motivation to want to do the work. . Even better to know them all. the necessary demands and every comment they can give me to improve game after game.

• The main idea for this season is to qualify for the World Cup, in this part for me it is non-negotiable and there can be no mistakes, we have the requirement to be able to defend the title and without a doubt that is what I will seek in my leadership to ensure that first step to fight for the trophy.

• Work on the ranking, seeking to maintain the level, continue rising and not lose positions.

• I have always sought to strengthen my tactical systems, that is why my strong point in the candidacy will be to improve and develop new game models to seek a style where the team's performance is the best.

• I always like to work together with the community to make the necessary improvements for each game, so that it is everyone's role, so that each game hurts and we cry or celebrate each result.

• We will seek to have a 100% updateable database where we can keep the players' skills safe, hoping to keep the increases updated, always keeping in mind any player that we can use to our advantage.

• Although we will enter the knockout season, we will not forget to maintain a base of young players, we will use friendlies to test players, I always like to have a replacement generation of the same level.

I want to be able to contribute all my knowledge to help continue strengthening the Croatian community, so that this new beginning is as satisfactory for me as it is for the country. I want you to know that I will give my all to be able to meet all the demands and overcome every obstacle that comes our way. Although I am not an active user in the community and perhaps many do not know me, I hope you can trust my work and that together we can achieve our goals, I want to work and that we all win.

First of all, I want to congratulate you on that great season and for that meritorious World Cup title. The deck of objectives is very high, but it is excellent to set equally high goals from now on.

Well, without going into too much detail, I could say that thanks to the projects I maintained with developing teams, it has allowed me to be very strong defensively by positioning key players. I really like to study my rivals, it's not about trying to guess. tactics, but look for points where their systems are more coherent and contrast it, at the moment I have time to be able to do that, I love the surprise factor, playing on the counterattack, a good midfield, area forwards, among other aspects. . .

I have always believed that Sokker is much more tactical than skillful, I vary what is necessary, I am more into looking for improvements in the system, I believe a lot in the tactical discipline of the player and I like that they can adapt to a style and their performance goes from less to further. Croatia (from my point of view) showed great tactical discipline in this World Cup, which was reflected in results and performances. It is not inventing something to be different, it is with the same bases making movements that define your style. The idea is to maintain that base of play that has been giving results and make key movements that mark a different style of play so that the essence of each coach can be seen but with the same objective, which is to win.

The fight will undoubtedly be with Moldova and Peru, currently their performances are several points below Croatia, but I have always said that Sokker is more tactical than skillful in addition to the advantage that he always gives to those with the least performance, the rivals. . They have the same number of players, so they have to go out with everything.

Moldova will have a change of coach for this edition and Peru has not yet decided its future. I know the Inca team at the South American level and I have had to face them on some occasions. If we come to Honduras, a rival that I also know well since I also faced them on several occasions in the last cycles with Guatemala.

If I have the opportunity to sit in the chair, the idea is to try to make the cycle perfect in all its facets.
