In the end we lost to one great striker (i told you guys about him.......) and one great keeper who saved all....

You are right , we have a topic in our close forum , we will make one here as well (from now and on)

In the overall we had our chances , it realy could have been different......
But the keeper (was my junior pull....... rrrrrrrrrrrr..) saved all , and in the other hand Snir (who will be the next Admamovic) killed us with his tech and our defs couldnt stop him....

heh.... yes, very unlucky for Latvia. 2 great saves from keeper in 9th minute when avenaajs shoots with head. And than very unlucky red card whitch messed up the midfield.

But start of the mach was very good

Their keeper had 5 saves in this one , 2 from long range which are hard to count as misses , but the rest where great saves from Maigonis shots...

I think we saw in this one why we need to make our defence stronger and why its so importent , couse we can create chances , but our defence just cant handle the strikers...

yap, thats what i told you- defence is very weak for Latvia - orther lines are a lot better. So for us only chance is to push on midfield so defenders dont have to play much. And in the beggining of the game that tactic worked

Yes , but still , i dont think we should push the defence at this stage , if we take in considration the striker that played against them today (i wont say his skills , but its one of the best U21 strikers in the game) than they did ok , the mid press ok , the red card gave them space on one side couse our wingback was called to defence as replacment to the red carded player , and that was their stronger side with a great winger there , and it took a lot our from our pressing in the mid area..

And now for the game , again , like last week , a red card to a defender right on the start to kill all the formation (oh , and 3 penalties in how much , 10 minutes?).....
Its realy unbelivable...
I set hours making this formation , every player was spot on , and all their goals came from set-peices and from the hole from the wingback missing , which gave them the control in the game...

3 penalty's after 30minutes :s

Overall its a great result for us , im happy with that , i think it was a tactical destruction to their side , we closed all , they scored their goals from nothing from some cutting passes of their mids , even that they missed some chances , we had some as well which we missed.....
Thats what hapeneds without a red card i guess.... ;-)

With 10 men we where better , we closed them well , beside on the throw ins in the mid area , which was hard to predict how they will make them , but their passes where cut.
Im pleased with Kamenskiy and Vīndedzis , they did what i wanted them to do , and im pleased with our defence who did their job well , and Zholtok who gave that great pass to Maigonis who missed alone to give us the win.....
Ecuador has 3 more seasons in the game , so its clear to see we have a future , lets keep up the training !
