As most of you know i was your NT coach in the last 6 seasons , in this seasons we achived what we wanted and as we planned , build a strong NT for the future , right now and from this moment and on our NT will keep getting stronger , young potentials will rise and help the NT and Latvija will have a strong NT for many seasons to come (and if we will continue this way we will allways have a strong NT..)
When i came i told you all how importent it will be to have a strong local base of players and how importent each and every manager in our community will be in helping our NT to be a strong one , and you guys are doing it just perfectly and all credit goes to all of you that train our NT / prospects.

As allways , a little on me personaly for the ones who dont know me here:
My name is Sharon , im from Israel , im 27yr , work in design of magazins , banners , commercials and more of this stuff.
I have enough free time to run the NT as i did before with Israel NT and with Latvija NT in the last 6 seasons since i work from home and as you know im prepring our NT for each game as it comes.


Experience in the game:
This will be my 14th season in the game , im working in NT levels almost all this time , first i was for 2 seasons the assistent in Israel , than 3 seasons as the NT manager in Israel and since than the NT manager of Latvija - 6 seasons.
I also won in all this season the championship with my personal team , so its 14 champioships in a row (and 5 cups i think..)

Achivments this season:
We had our best ever WCQ with our first ever 3rd place in the group..
Unfortunatly the top 2 seeded teams where Eesti and Swizerland , which are two of the best in the game and we arent at their level yet.. still we gave them a great first in both matches i think , and we where realy close to steal a point or two from them , but we didnt had the little luck to do so and in this kind of matches when you face a much stronger opponent (as we had here with about 15 points difference in ratings..) you must have some luck to do something , even if your tactic is the best possible...
Our main rivels for the 3rd place where Island , they had much better mids and a strong striker and ranked higher than us , but we took the points we needed from them as we wanted to , beat them 4:0 in the first match and took the last point in the 1:1 draw that gave us the 3rd place.
Other matches in the group where Honduras and UAE , we beat them both easily as we should have.
Our players this seasons did a great job , our strikers did missed some chances that could have gave us a point or two against the top teams , but nothing to do about that...
As you saw during this season we kept on using and giving credit to young prospects that will be our stars in the future , like Villa , Oto , Daļeckis , Ozerov , Ritvalds , Klaudijs and others , actualy we had the youngest team in our group with a 24.5 average age of first squad this season , of course in friendlies we gave more minutes to our young stars and we will continue to do that next season as well.
We also improved our rankings a lot , we are corrently ranked 48 (i think we started from around 75 place if im not wrong when we started our long term plan..) and very close to some NT's above us , i think all NT's around us in rankings are stronger , also we have the lowest number of seasons in the game from all of them , the closer one is Ukraine about 10 places under us if i remember right , but our players know how to give everything all the time and thats our secret...

Some of the matches i liked the most this season.
- Latvija - Ísland 4:0
Great win the first match in the WCQ , we needed the win to get a chance for 3rd place and we did it in a great way , one of our best wins and importent ones ever.
- Latvija - Moldova 4:2
A good win against rivels in rankings in a friendly , they played a-squad while we used our youngsters and we beat them with our players doing a great job.
- Latvija - Schweiz 0:2
Well , we lost this game , but we played an heroic match , almost 14 points difference in ratings , we held them to only 9 shots in the game , our striker missed a one on one chance when it was 1:0 and we could have steal a point , still it was a good game for us.
- Ísland - Latvija 1:1
The game that gave us the point we needed to get our first ever 3rd place , must be one of our favorites for this season...
- Hayastan - Latvija 0:5
Great result in a match we played with an average squad of around 23-23.5 against their seniors and won it with a great preformance by all our youngsters.


Goals for the next season:
Our goals for this season will be to continue and give credit for our young rising players , we will be in the Mini WC which i also organize (i guess this season as well...) and we will see which teams we will play against in this cup.
Of course we will have all kind of matches against all kind of opponents as we allways do , but still more credit to young potentials and U2X matches which will let us see our improvment the best.


Connection with the community:
As i say in every election and in every topic about the players we train for our NT , obviously without the community there is no chance for our NT , the community is the reason why we are achiving our goals and why our NT looks like it is and has the future it has.
I hope we will see more interst in our NT matches topics in our closed forum , as you saw (or i hope you did) i opened a tactical lessons topic in our closed forum where every week we will learn something new and we will analize our matches so that everyone will learn more about the game and this will help us to have a local manager in the future as well.
Im also realy realy happy with our community which helps the NT a lot in training our NT players and future NT , this is the most importent thing in having a strong NT in the future and i want you to remember that everyone has a part in our NT to help in any way you want to , our NT belongs to all the community.

My way of play:
Here its a shot one , as i allways say and as you allways see , my best way of play is - do what will be the best to get the best result possible.
As we know i give more credit to future stars as i allways think about the future and how to make our NT stronger with more credit to local trained players as you saw as well..

Before i finish i want to prize the job that Lauzejs is doing with our U21 , we where for the first time ever in the U21 WC and he is doing a great job with our young prospects and by this helping our seniors NT as well as we see many young players in our seniors squad that came from the U21 (actualy all of them...) and we continue with this way.

Last season you said, that this is the last time when you candidate for NT coach post. Or I'm wrong?

Yes , but i want that the next coach will be a local manager and someone that will be ready at the max , thats why i opened the tactical lessons topic in our closed forum , to teach things that i know so that the next manager will use it.
If someone will think that he is ready to take over from next season (or from this season if he feels he is already ready for it) than i wont candidate , i feel obligated to see that Latvija will do the best in all aspects..

long time since the last visit

Hi gugi!!!

I was near lo leave Sokker because of lack of time ... last season i was relegated to 3rd division and my team is getting older , but i won the championship and now i'm back again in 2nd division . I hope to save my team and improve my youngers. This season after long time i decided to candidate as Belarus NT Coach , i hope to win.
