P.S. Why are you asking for a friendly in international forum and don't open an invitation via Office-> Friendlies? I am looking for a friendly but there is no active local friendly invitations at the moment.

ahhh... it's only local invitation. I like to play against teams I have never seen before :)

For example now I will be playing against Scotlands top team in Premier League ;)

Ok, this time i will really make it short (just for you lauzejs)

We have now a strong NT that can be dangerous to every NT in the game, our goal for this season will be to make it to the WC, this will be our goal until we will make it!

Our last season was a very good one, we made it for the first time to the 1/4 finals in the Mini WC, lost in penalties to Scotland..

We had some really good results that shows our improvment and future:

Latvija - Moldova 3:1
Latvija - Slovenija 5:3
Latvija - Norge 2:1
Latvija - Canada 6:2
Latvija - New Zealand 5:2

Also the matche against Scotland that we lost in penalties (was a 2:2 draw in 90 minutes and we deserved to win it) was a great match.

So as i said, we want to continue with what we did here, building a strong NT that will only get stronger and stronger in time and of course fight to make it to the WC, this is my personal goal as well in this game and i wont stop playing sokker until we will achive that!

What were our weaknesses in NT last season?

Last season our weaknesses where mostly on offence when our strikers missed many good chances (like the 12 one on one against New Zealand, and didnt forget all the penalties we are missing, i think we have the sokker record for that...), our midfield is becoming stronger and very good and we are starting to have there a very good depth with some younger players becoming better (many are trained by local managers, almost all of them), our defence is very solid and we have a good depth there as well, we played for many matches without some of the best defenders we have because of form problems but we allways have another defender ready to step up, still missing secondery skills for most of the defenders.
In strikers position we are also starting to have some top strikers, some really good young prospects to come as well, just hope the form of the best strikers will be high and of course the form overall for all the players.
The spirit of our NT really covers for that, and if we want to look at our strongest part in the NT than its the spirit of it!

The boost we need... mmm... the boost will come naturaly to all positions if we continue this way, our mids will become stronger, our strikers as well, our defence as well, maybe thats our weakness as we dont have many defenders trainers at the moment, maybe ill move to train defence myself.
But anyway, i think the main boost we need is in the luck of our pulls..
We have bad luck in pulls, im looking at the pulls in Israel where the number of users isnt high by much and the pulls are so much better... really cant explain that..

Aims for next season - fight for a place in the WC.
This will be our goal for every WCQ and we will make it.
Of course we need a good draw and some luck to make it, but it will come..
